Olaf and Kegan Rodhe?

Did they ever know each other before Brand took over Kegan's body? Whether they were friends or enemies matter's not but it'd be really interesting (to me), to get a history lesson on Lokfar beyond Olaf and Kegan Rodhe's home, something like their culture, we know it's hardcore there because it's Freljord and it's Olaf's home.
