Jax lore: If the league is non cannon, who is jax?

In Jax lore, he's a guy that wins every fight in the league, but if there's no league, summoners, etc... Who is he? His lore only says he fights in the league and he's undefeated...

You're kind of late to the party- There has been a bunch of discussion around this topic already and the Narrative team (I think it was Jaredan who confirmed this) said that they are working on solving this issue and rewriting Jax' lore.

Jax is an imaginary Ionian. The boy who imagined him is not with us anymore. So for happening....Jaximus was born a real person.
