Aatrox Questions and Possible Future

Heya! Got some stuff about aatrox i wanted to ask and kind of showcase an idea:

so aatrox was an ascended, as all Darkin were. A winged one, at that. So was he bird-like? Or is he a Xerath case where he wasn't an animal? Also, he says that his body is a "mimicry of his former self". So is it possible we can get a "Perfect Aatrox" skin? Like him as his as his ascended self, or him in his Darkin form where he has killed so many where his body is as close as possible?

We dunno much about what the darkin were like before their inprisonment. My assumption, given Aatrox's wings being of a bat/pterosaur like nature, and his choice to go with metallic horns, was that he had a draconic form. Shurima would've encompassed Ixtal back then, and Ixtal has elemental drakes so the potential is there, though that's purely my take on it.

Is a skin possible? I'd say so for Aatrox, though that depends on Riot doing so, as the last time they've done skinsthat directly tied to the lore was 2015 with Bilgewater and the GP update. Transcended Kayle is a potential "What if" skin now but I feel like that's not an omen of things to come in terms of skin production.

Well, as far as i remember, the lore does mention that the Darkins (before being trapped and killed) changed their bodies with blood magic or something like that... So, it is possible that Aatrox didnt had wing in his original form, but he created those with blood magic after he became a darkin.

But i think that he was some kind of bat or an animal with wings anyways.

Dragon. His ascended form mimicked a dragon or the half-dragons- they're supposedly meant to be myth/extinct according to Shyvana's lore.

You cant get more majestic, more indomitable, more proud and certainly couldn't get more precedence than a dragon. Fits for a once-famous commander from the Ascended Host. Dragon's the theory I'm sticking with.

There was at one point a few people to unanimously agree Aatrox was a "horned owl" of all things. Oh and a classic was Rhaast must've been a Hammerhead shark, like a god-warrior from a desert country embodies a friggin shark. Just weird conclusions.

I suspect either a horned owl or a fucking dragon. Personally I'd like more the last one as it would be fucking amazing

I like to think that "Justicar Aatrox" is what he looked like originally after his ascension. Back when the skin was made it was supposed to represent how the demacians remember and depict him. They revered him as a heroic figure because he helped them win a battle and since demacians view themselves as the good guys, anyone who helps them must be good too and so they portray him as this shining angelic figure. But since that isn't canon anymore it could very well be Aatrox before being corrupted by the Void. An excerpt from his current lore: "Remade as one of the Ascended, his wings were the golden light of dawn, and his armor sparkled like a constellation of hope from beyond the great veil. " Now if Justicar Aatrox doesn't fit this description, then I really don't know what does.
