Are Fiddle and Swain somehow connected? New fiddle uses black and red magic just as swain. And both use birds. is this a link or weird coincidence?

Vaguely? Probably, yeah. I think Fiddlesticks is a demon effecively once his VGU comes around. Swain wields the power of a demon. It makes sense their magics are similar.
More closely connected? Also possible. The other demons' magics that we've seen thus far aren't all similar like, say, necromantic magic (sickly blue-green). Ergo there could be a direct link between Fiddlesticks and Swain.
I mean Fiddle has nothing to do with secrets in any shape or form. Shoving that theme inside him just to create a connection with other champions would be kinda stupid.
They have Corvids in common. Otherwise nothing really. Remember these are both champions that have been/are undergoing a VGU. Whatever original motif they had has to be preserved.
I think that's just coincidence.
I'm more interested in how they protray the demon that is Fiddlesticks. I think they could do a really good job if they make out like Fiddle is even more terrifying than the other demons we have (Eve, Tahm and Nocturne), that even they are scared of him.
They both use crows or crow-like creatures and they both have demonic connection. It's fairly possible they will want to make some background for it in lore rather than it being coincidence.
