Currently "Vintage Skins" get marks added onto them of the loading screen. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/store/sales/plan-vintage-limited-edition-skins They have the vintage treatment for Twitch and Warwick Refer a Friend skins on the PBE. http://www.surrenderat20.net/2014/10/1028-pbe-update.html

But....why have vintage earners art changed when you can add the marks to all....lets call them "Second Edition" versions?

This can be done for all vintage splash arts, so that original purchasers can keep their art the same (nor marks), and all new buyers will have the marks.
