Where do you think the Shadow Isle's champions came from?

Mordekaiser, if the rumours are true, was a spectre even before the Isles fell to darkness. Where did he come from, how was he involved in the kingdoms fate?

Yorick and Karthus arrived to the Isles after life. Where did they live? How long ago?

What is Thresh's and Hecarim's stories? Why is Hecarim a freaking centaur?

Where does Elise come from and where does she recruit her followers? Noxus?

Who the hell is Evelynn?

What do you think? Discuss!

Shadow Isles is missing the main character :) The King. All the Shadows Isle champions are deemed to serve the King, we are just waitif for his release.

I think Elise being Noxian is actually Riot confirmed. I always thought it would make more sense for her to recruit from bumpkin towns in the middle of nowhere, because anyone from a major city who spectates League matches knows she turns into a giant freaking spider. (Although I guess that doesn't matter anymore.)

Aside from that...

FANON WARNING FANON WARNING FANON WARNING

Just have to put that there just in case people think I'm dealing with canon Lore stuff, because I'm mostly bullshitting here.

Mordekaiser : I like the idea that Mordekaiser is what caused the undead breakout. His old lore had him mostly hanging out in areas of plague and disease, and he has shown his ability to turn the dying into ghosts serving him in game. Maybe he's always been stuck in that suit of armor, lying in the castle basement, waiting.

Yorick : Yorick's family is all gravediggers, and he's a "disappointment" for not meeting his quota. Maybe he couldn't, considering he was around at the time of the undead rising, and is bound to fix it before he can rest, which is what is being referred to in his Judgement?

Karthus : He's into death. Might as well go where the death is. I also like the idea that he can talk people into joining with the undead, like a preacher, but for ghosts.

Thresh : Thresh's lore fits pretty neatly into the whole "Kingdom falling apart" narrative. He's a sadistic, evil jailer in life, and when the prisoners (political prisoners maybe? People who opposed the "King"?) get out and kill him, he's reborn with a similar role. Entrap the souls of those who could be threats to the King's undead kingdom, like Senna.

Hecarim : Hecarim could be a knight of the old kingdom. The altar on TT tells him "Mordekaiser is not to be trusted", so perhaps he tried to stop the undead rising, and when he was killed, his spirit was brainwashed and fused with his steed in life, creating the centaur we know now. (Hecarim is an anagram of "Chimera", a creature created of multiple beings)

Evelynn : Not a single clue. Maybe if there's a King, she's the Queen? Princess? Duchess?

Overall I think that Mordekaiser might have been one of the citizens of the shadow isles even before the king broke the border between life and death(in fact it wouldn't surprise me if Mordekaiser was the one who made the king do it in the first place)

Yorick,Thresh and Hecarim lived probably on the shadow isles before the curse too. With Thresh getting killed around the time when the magic took effect and turnded everyone into undead(No idea why Heca is a centaur,he either merged with his horse or he was a centaur in life).

Elise was probably a noxian since her page lists her as a friend of Leblanc

Dunno about Karthus though,he is definetly not from the SI,so he's probably from one of the different city states. He could have been a noxian or even a demacian(more or less imagining how Karthus would look like if he was still alive and think he would fit into these 2 states the most,ok there are also the vodoo lands, but they are a rather new region and I think karthus is older than the vodoo lands themselves).

And I doubt that even Riot knows what evelynn is,we'll probably get to know more about her, when her VU comes

The Shadow Islands, duh.

Anyways, I'm actually more interested in the Ruined King. Did Mordekaiser possibly destroy him? Or...could Mordekaiser be the Ruined King, trapped in armor?

Or is the Ruined King...actually someone we know? Whatever the case...

The Ruined King versus Swain versus Jarvan 4 Versus Ashe versus Karma versus Gangplank versus Tristana.

Despite the fact Tristana now has gotten a pentakill, that would be a Valoran-wide war that could be awesome. But a Valoran wide war would destroy Runeterra as it would quickly devolve into another Rune War and everyone would die and the only person alive would be Lux, holding Garen as she cries over his dead body while Kayle places a hand on her shoulder and holy fuck I just thought of a cool idea I should write about.

Cough Sorry, I go on tangents more then algebra class. Anyways.

The Ruined King and Helmet Bro for Champions 2015.

If we can assume still right the non-negated lore what I cna guess is:

Mordekaiser: He has been the first undead, his quest is still unknown but as his name suggest I would assume something similar to Arthas happened to him.

Hecarim: he surely was a warrior, the fact that he is a centaur might mean that he was a chivalry warrior

Elise: was probably a noblewoman much likely Cassiopeia

Evelynn: when Lucian came out there were some speculation of her being Senna (Lucian's wife)

Thresh: He was a jailer who took advantage of the undeath to torture huma souls

Mordekaiser apart they seem to be ppl who lived in the Shadow Island former kingdom and have sworn loyalty to different entities that shape the Islands (the Spider god, and the thing who was freed in the undead "plague"). I see this because the Altars in the Twiste Treeline still acknolewdge Mordekaiser as a powerful entity who doesn't follow the "Will of the Isles".
