My theory on what the hinted-at Jhin-reference on the Piltover Map is.

My bet is, it has something to do with the fact that on the sliver of Ionia in the corner, "Raikkon" is crossed over and then re-written under it. It is a weird detail. I believe it is a reference to Jhin stealing the identity of Medarda's Ionian trade-contact. On his journey to Piltover he is dressed up as a merchant, and Raikkon is probably the stolen identity he is using.

Close.

It's Kashuri.

If you weren't aware, Kashuri Armoury is where Jhin's weapon, Whisper, and his lotus bombs were created. It rose after the end of the Noxian - Ionian war as a result of Ionia's less technological prowess in warfare, compared to Noxus. Kashuri create weapons and ammunition with magic infused properties, similar to hextech, but explosively more powerful, relying on natural magic over the Brackern's song stones. In this sense Kashuri tech is Ionia's way of jumping to a modern level of technological development.
