I know Skarner has gone a couple years without a skin, and I'd like him to get a new one, but what kind of skin should he get that would fit his scorpion model? So far we have golem scorpion, a classic kind of desert scorpion, a machine scorpion, and an ornate Egyptian style scorpion.
So what do you think is left for him? Maybe Death Blossom?
Well Skarner was noted to be rather high on the VGU list,so honestly I wouldn't count on him getting a skin anytime soon.
..he is gonna be like swain... most likely. VGU must happen to him with new abilities before any new skin fairly. Otherwise he will be missing from league no matter how many cool new skins he gets.
He has a pokemon quote ''Skar Skar Skarner!'' so he could use a skin based on that

I think it'd be cool if he got a constellation skin :) he could be space colored, and have stars connected throughout his model (claws to his body segments, through his tail, etc)
Make him something really random like one of those truck cranes, a bulldozer, a minesweeper tank. Give him a boxing skin like blitzcrank with gloves on his claws and one on his tail's stinger. Or an arcade skin where is like one if those claw games somehow.
Do something crazy not just a fancy scorpion chroma with minor detail changes.
