I do, but mostly cause the sooner we get the new champ, the sooner we get Urgot. Though I am curious to see what this new transformation champ is (not happy that its gonna be a jungle champ though).

Exactly what I have been thinking of. I expected the next new champ to be Ap mid laner.

Anyway, While Urgot is one of the highlight I 'm looking for. The next ChampUp blog is something I will die for.

Yeah, I would have been fine with anything but jungle, cause I suck at jungle... a lot.

I would rather have a new AD midlaner, been a long while since we had our last AD assassin mid. Plus for AP 4 champs ago we got Aurelion AND taliyah back to back.

Just looked it up the last actual Assassin release was Zed, i joined on Gnars release... (Btw i personally dont consider Kindred, Yasuo, and Vi as assassins, and im pretty 50/50 on Ekko)

well Kindred is a marksmen , yasuo a skrimisher (supp calss of assasin) and VI is diver (sublcass of fighter)

Yeah thats why i dont consider them. While i know the old role listings are outdated, I actually just clicked on Assassin in the release order in the shop and those are the 4 that became after Zed.

Skirmisher is a subclass of slayers, which assassins belong under. Technically skirmishers and assassins are separate, but there's a lot of overlaps.

Ekko IS an assassin though. And a mage and a tank and a skirmisher at the same time, but he IS an assassin.

I know hes classified as an assassin, but i feel like out of all assassins he has the hardest time getting to and instakilling a priority target, his attacks are more delayed, and his ult isnt usually a priority killer like most other assassins.

To me he feels more like a mobile mage.

I'd consider him a skirmisher over an assassin. He has a hard time bursting people unless super fed. His damage is much more spread out compared to other assassins. That's why he is allowed to have hard cc and a shield in his kit, because his damage is delayed and he's squishy.

It's probably going to be 2 champions in 1 (like old Quinn and Valor used to be). The transformation might not be temporary but work on an actual shared CD between these two champions and the kits would probably vastly different, depending on which form might specialize in something.

So you don't get to do Jayce or Nidalee things to maximize damage between forms, you either need one form or the other. At least that's how i think this transformation might be happening, it does not mean that there would be 2 champions in 1.

I kinda hope it will be a parasite of sorts that gets its different forms through infesting different jungle camps or enemy champions. If this is the case, I'll definitely try it out even though I suck at jungle.

A Shadow on the Horizon

We have a bunch of new champions in various stages of development. I’m not going to go over all of the champions in production (spoilers), just the one that has been infesting my mind lately — a new carry champion that we think will perform well in the jungle. After Ivern, we wanted to try our hand at a more aggressive, damage-focused champion that should feel at home in the jungle. They will also be our first transformation champion since Gnar, but this take on transformation will be unlike any champion we have ever made. I don’t want to say much more than that for now, but keep an eye out for more info soon.

That's is a teaser as a teaser I think OP meant a teaser as in a promo.

Eh, we got two pieces of art (Both the new champ and Urgot's rework) as well as some hints at what he/she/it will be.

I've stopped bothering reading content on the Nexus site, since several from EUNE, myself included, cannot comment there.

Tried with Firefox (cache clear and complete reinstall and reset has naturally been tried), Chrome and Internet Explorer, and none of them shows the comments while logged in (just get the "comment loading" spinning icon). I see them just fine when logged out, but that kinda defeats the purpose.

Well, a new champion is coming when it's coming. My ocean of IP won't notice the 7800 drop from buying something new anyway.

Yeah I think it is very likely that the next champ is in the next pbe patch. Because usually we get one big release per month(january had WW,march had Galio,April had 2 big releases with Xayah and Rakan,which made up for the fact that febuary didn't have one and may had the tank update).So it is already odd that june isn't going to get anything(and no legendary skins don't count :p). So I hope that we'll get 2 big releases in july(new champ and Urgot).

And that would make sense,because every new champ/VGU-team is supposed to deliver a new champ/VGU roughly every 6 months,so the 2 teams that previously did Camille and Warwick should be ready for a new release.

yeah, I think that the teaser of the new champion will be in June and the Urgot teaser in July but both will ship in the next month, becasue I don't expect that Riot will release the new champ in 7.14 then in 7.15 the Urgot skin. I think we will get in 7.14 the new champ , 7.15 some bigger balance stuff and Poolparty skins that are quite big with an event and after that in 7.16 or 7.17 will be Urgot.

Actually, I was pretty disappointed that they dedicated 7.13 to highlight SKT skins. Yeah, the skins are beautiful and could easily be the best of E-Sport skin line but ,Frankly, I feel 7.13 has nothing relevant to my interesting and I have to wait longer for Urgot and new ChampUp blog.

Yeah thats what I think as well.

Maybe we'll get the teaser for the new champ next week. I mean its not common,but sometimes they do release a teaser only a few days before the reveal.

I don't say that it is always a big teaser , xayah and rakan was on Saturady or Friday , so 2/3 day until the final reveal and 3/4 until pbe patch

Probably won't be happening for a while, considering the Urgot rework will be coming out after the new champ.

I'm guessing it's going to be about 10 days until the reveal. It seems like they reveal about a week before it gets added to the game. I doubt the champion will be released in 7.13 because that's during the VS. event. I'm guessing it's 7.14.
