Ursine Champion

Haven't seen anyone mention it, or maybe I missed it but, with Ornn's lore, we now know that the Ursine and Volibear are 2 different things. Where Volibear is the deity worshiped by the Freljordian war tribe known as the Ursine.

Others, such as Volibear, refuse to allow their own legends to fade, and still stalk this world. He demands sacrifice and forces obedience, much like the Ursine…” > The sky darkened with ash. Columns of smoke rose to clash with the menacing thunderclouds, and bolts of lightning lanced through the haze. The world grew eerily still as the Thousand-Pierced Bear itself took to the battlefield. We could see its telltale shape: spears, swords, tusks, all were stuck in its hide. Lightning followed in its wake.

Volibear

Ornn saw the army—fierce aberrations, men twisted into other shapes by their efforts to please Volibear. They were simple, and fierce, and quick to anger. > We could only ever stand a chance against the Winter’s Claw. If the Ursine struck first, our defense would be terrifyingly short. That hideous legion of half-bear abominations would overwhelm us.

Ursine

So I think there is potential to see an Ursine champion in the distant future, unlike in the old lore where another Ursine would have just been a Volibear without powers, now the Ursine are completely different from him, and we can get an insight into how things operate around their religion/ beliefs, it also sounds as though they are now longer/ are not currently affiliated with the Winter's Claw, so there is that to factor into the new Feljord lore (possible that I read that sentence wrong). However, more than likely this will only be after the Volibear VGU or a Freljord update. I think that he will be a juggernaut seeing as the Ursine are half bear, but Riot might surprise us, maybe he'll be a skirmisher, maybe it'll be a she, what parts of them will be a bear and which parts will they keep human.

I think an ursine champ would likely have little bits of bear all over them. From what the lore said it sounds like the ursine don't have a unified look anyway. I imagine that some have bear heads, others have one or 2 bear arms(or just a claw) and maybe some just have fur growingon their body.

I assume they will pull a gnar and mak the ursine change between a bear and a human.
