Well... she kinda IS her sister.... and he respects her father, the General Du Couteau, it would be disrespectful to... you know, try to bang her daughter.

You are making a lot of assumptions here,as there are quite few possibilities other than "Talon might not be hetero": 1.He might see Katarina as a sister,even if they are not blood related.(or would you bang your sister the moment you hear that you aren't blood related?) 2.He might have actually tried to hit on her and got rejected. 3.She might simply not be her type(maybe he is not into confident girls that might be stronger than him?) 4.He might have refrained from doing so out of respect for her dad. 5.In the new lore its implied that Talon was actually adopted as a replacement for Katarina,since Katas dad lost all respect for her,so the 2 are likely not on friendly terms in the first place. 6.He might have already another love interest.
Talon was ADOPTED into the family. Talon is his son and Katarina's brother. It would be extremely disrespectful to the General if Talon decided to get with Katarina after the General did that.
