All champions with a bow or crossbow, it would of been nice if they kept the ADC w/ bows only thing as we already have so many skin lines that make a full team, why not have some exclusive to a role? I don't remember anyone asking for Heartseeker Orianna, (I mean it looks nice but really). It would of been better to make Orianna + Sona's Sweetheart skins and then make one for: Kindred, Twitch, or Quinn.

The Mafia skins are exclusive to Marksmen. Why would they have another line that is exclusive to Marksmen. If they are going to make a line exclusive to a role it wouldn't be Marksman.
SeductiveGrandpa3 votesWhile I get your point, adcs do have their own skin line, this decision was down right flawed because its destroying the established "thematic" of this skin line:
Champions based after looking/relating to "Cupid": Ashe has a love bow, and in the background Tyndamere is falling in love in the background, her visuals in game have been changed accordingly. Varus, while not having much in the splash, heartbow, his visual look is designed based on how "Cupid" is a baby in a diaper with wings. His visuals in-game match Cupid. Vayne is just as similar as Ashe, Heartbow, and her visuals have been changed accordingly.
These skins, or "skin line" fits the idea that these characters are just little cupid versions of themselves, which probably is what "Heartseeker" is supposed to mean or portray. But, everything changed when Orianna was added...(haha references)
Orianna, does NOT fit this thematic. She may have all the hearts, visuals, and probably splash art that makes it more believable that she could be a heartseeker but she just doesnt work here. The skin is admittedly well done, its pretty, smooth, well designed but its real name should be: Sweetheart Orianna. Orianna just doesnt feel right for this, she lacks a bow, she lacks the looks, and shes really designed more cutely rather than ...."open" like the other heartseeker skins. Its hard to explain but it just doesnt feel right that she is getting this skin for this skin line, it feels like it was just a last second change because they realized that they had made two sweetheart skins and forgot to make a Heartseeker one.
Sure, ADCs shouldnt get all their own skin lines, but that isnt an excuse to throw random champions in and break their original formula for the skin line. (Lets be serious, that whole "Not all adcs w/ bows have to be in this line" excuse was made up on the spot)
Ravenhale2 votesAfter a quick read on the PBE boards, the distinction between Heartseeker and Sweetheart was based on Riot's perception over the attitude of the champion. Supposedly Heartseekers are more ruthless while Sweethearts are gentler.
While I can see the angle they are coming from, I don't quite agree. The Ashe of lore does not match the supposed personality of Heartseekers. She's a pacifist, seeking to unify her people. She's not like Vayne or Varus, whom do fit this Heartseeker mold.
Annie hardly matches the passive nature Sweethearts like Sona supposedly possess. IMO, Annie is more like Orianna, in that they are young, innocent and lack the experience and understanding to not resort to violence.

I was really looking forward to seeing a Heartseeker Kindred or maybe Quinn this year. Instead we get Orianna, as if she needs it or even fits the theme. It looks fine, sure, but there's so many other champs that would've pulled the look off better. If they wanted to switch it up from bows/marksmen, why not someone like Ahri, who'd fit the theme perfectly. She even has a heart shaped ability, work's half done already. There's also Pantheon, he could throw heart tipped spears and such, his e is even called "Heartseeker Strike."
I dunno man. The skin looks fine, but disappointing considering the potential with better canidates. Seems to be a recurring thing (in my personal, subjective opinion). It's just like last year's Pool Party skins. One or two of them were good and the others were meh.

Then what's the point of having two different skin lines. Both of the skin lines are identical in terms of outfits and such. There's literally no reason to have two skin lines if heartseeker "was never intended for marksman or people with bows".

I don't know what, but it is missing something compared to the ones I already own (Guqin, Arcade & DJ)
But I'm def picking up Ori's cause I love that backing animation and as you mentioned the particles on her ult are nice.

And secondly, why bother making a skin for a champ that NO ONE barely plays anymore, especially one that you nerfed to hell, Riot? Hell, it was bad enough when they last nerfed her and released DJ Sona. Like, "Yeah, we hate this champ and therefore, we're gonna nerf the hell out of her. We know she'll pretty much be unplayable after this, but here's a really cool skin for you guys to put on her!" Just one giant "fuck you" from Riot to the players. And it seems they're doing it again here with "Sweet Heart" Sona. Other than that, the skin for Sona is ugly. She looks like she could be my grandma. At least I can deal with Orianna looking like she came out of a kid's board game like Candyland. [zombie-brand-facepalm]
