Who is Evelynn?

I'm trying to figure out exactly what Evelynn's role is for the shadow isles. Since she is officially from there acording to the old lore and everything.

All other shadow isles champions have a clear role to help fulfil some evil plot. lures victims to the isles steals souls and tortures them so they become super soldiers in undeath. brings the bodies to the shadow isles military commander for the undead armies of the isles.

Meanwhile... is just, there. It seems she serves no real purpose to the shadow isles and the main reason they re-wrote her lore was because that place was the only place she would actually fit in. There are just so many holes in her character design and backstory that need to be filled in. I feel Evelynn is in need in a complete character overhaul to actually make any logical sense.

Anyone feel the same way?

Actually, we're not alone here, thinking that Evelynn is in need of a complete character overhaul- Rioters (IronStylus mostly) stated a lot that it's what they plan on doing with her; Whether she'll become a half Darkin, a Succubus or a Vampire, she's gonna get an overhaul. :) Unfortunately, she was recently put on hold again, if I'm not wrong. :/ I expect her to be updated around mid 2016.. :P

Yeah, he definitely indicated that she has been back burnered once again.

I would like to see them to take this to the community at this point. May get some steam going around the community.

One the biggest issues is getting the Narrative team to actually talk to us to get a background together. But they are soo tight lipped its not even funny.

Yeah. :/ Narrative team should really start talking with the community, although it seems like so many people have already lost their faith in them, which sad but understandable. I hope that they'll eventually start delivering lore content a lot more often, cause a region-based event per year, some short lore teasers for champs and very few full stories for a few champs is just not enough... :/

Maybe she is an agent for the Shadow Isles, sneaking around Valoran and sowing fear as people come across random, mysterious bloody murders, almost always men. That doesn't actually say who she is, however.

You say the others have a clear role,yet you leave out Mordekaiser ,who really hasn't a clear role as you say(at least none that we know).

And I'm also pretty sure that Kalista just does her own thing and doesn't actually serve the shadow isles.

And yeah she is already confirmed to get a complete character overhaul,like you said.

Mordekaiser does need a slight update to his character, but not to the level of Eve. Morde can easily be the "Garen / Darius archtype of the shadow isles" Basically a really powerful soldier with a high ranking status in it.

I would actually say that Morde is more likely to be the swain-like guy(before swains rise to power) You know,he works for the ruined king,but has his own agenda too,I mean his lore(which is outdated,so it might be open to drastic changes) hints at him working on some bigger project,he was the first undead,which makes it rather likely that he was in some way responsible for the curse of the shadow isles(maybe he taught the wizards of the king how to break the barrier between life and death?) and overall he represents the "evil overlord"-archetype and those guys are usually rulers and not followers.
