Idea for Pantheon VGU

So how about we do GP all over again?

First he recieves a skin masked as a new model, then in a story something almost kills Pantheon (ASol most likely), he comes back with a proper model.

The skin can be called something like Celestial Pantheon and armor from Targon Prime. Oh, and add star-cape as well. The base skin on the other hand would have Rakkor armor design with a regular cape.

A problem people have with his lore can also be solved that way: after near death experience some part of Atreus comes back. His VO can also change: with the skin we hear only Pantheon the aspect, while base adds Atreus or even replaces Pantheon. He could remain but only heard by Atreus, maybe have something similar to Kayn/Rhaast relationship.

The death of Gangplank worked so well because no one saw it coming, people were genuinely concerned if he was removed from the game. So with a champion like where most people may either: a) want Atreus to completely be free of Pantheon or b) not care about Atreus since Pantheon could always find a new host, it wouldn't work because people would be expecting either outcome.

I strongly believe Riot may end up toning down the implications of Pantheon's possession over Atreus, maybe so that he represents Atreus' ideal to protect the Rakkor at any extreme. Unlike a lot people I want both Atreus and Panth to stay, but without them being is some conflict over Atreus' body, I rather they become a single entity, 'Atreus' version of Pantheon', allowing Riot to also explore other version's of Pantheon that aren't Atreus, as teased in AurelionSol 's short story. Of course I am biased since this fits my desire to see multiple versions of Pantheon interact and would allow for other Pantheons to be introduced into the game, since they would no longer all be the same person.

I just had an idea. What if Atreus and Pantheon are SEPARATED in his VGU and become separate champions? That way, Pantheon can be the Targon full-on 'space-parasite' and Atreus can be the Spartan all the old fans love, and you even get an interesting character dynamic between the two as Atreus would probably have a thing or two to say to the parasite that took over his body for nine years. Also, you also get progression of lore through a VGU again, which is what I think we all loved so much about the 'GP is dead and is unavailable'

I mean, I wouldn't really want to make the whole thing too similar to GP's. And frankly I think they should just kill Atreus and have us play as Pantheon proper.

Why not let Atreus die and let the Aspect him self come in the game or a new host. Atreus could be killed by Asol
