Personality Types and New Champs that you want to see in LOL [ COMMENT SUGGESTIONS ]

Like the title, what do you want to see in league. And BTW, I'll just continue meddler's post in the dev corner, because its crowded now and it mixed with other disscussion.


So for me,

I hope to see

- A girl with a long hair hime cut who is always bored, has a bored expression even if she kills a person and very slothy. ( maybe a girl hairmancer, see link below to my thread about it).
- A Multi Personality Disorder champ that has a unique personality in each persona.
- A small(not actually small but petite woman) but terrible girl, has a kuudere personality(doesn't show emotions) especially when it comes to fighting, a psychopath maybe.
- A happy go lucky male( like lux) in the outside but sinister and evil in the inside. A good looking jerk fits this.
- A shy type character but after its levels it gains confidence
- A hag/mother figure/grandma champ. we need this riot! Don't let us down and try to hear suggestions from the community.
- A support that is some form of military commander who is essentially trying to grab the ADC by the scruff of their neck and shove them into the fray.( not my idea).

btw, we need a hairmancer( Like bayonetta, Flare Corona, etc. ) in leaugue. An example of a hairmancer is in my thread, i hope you could see this specially a rioter: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/X1PfGqc9-can-we-have-a-new-champ-that-uses-her-hair-as-skills?

I want a ghost champion with an ult that possesses a dead body gaining all of their basic abilities and stats along with having no auto attacks but his normal basic abilitys would summon different kinds of units

I think it could be funny to have a pacifistic champion who has special powers that he can't control (so the kills you do ingame would be like unintentional accidents lorewise) kills an enemy “Ohhh crap, was that me? Ahem...sorry...I didn't mean to do that! Really!“ Ally gets a pentakill “Did you really have to kill them all? Like couldn't you just speak out or something?“

OMG I LOVE THIS IDEA!! (Would you mind numbered your suggestion for easier voting?)

I have a few suggestions to make too:

  1. A warm mother type champs as a TANK. (come to mama)
  2. A beautiful, yet mean teenage boy, who is of course genius in some high art, and value beauty a lot.
  3. A skinny man with glasses, who is always complain everything that happens to him. Rich. Magic/tech related.

I Agree with your list. I also like a hairmancer in league. maybe combine a female hairmancer to your first suggestion and it will be a nice idea and unique personlity to other hairmancers out there.

That could be fun. Like, she and Ryze started out collecting the rune together, but then she became corrupted by the possibility of having so much power, and now seeks the runes for her own sake instead of to keep them safe.

Kayn is very edgy, but:

  1. It's beyond measure, making it meme material
  • And it's purposefully over-the-top
  1. He still has a strong personality
  2. Rhaast offers an interesting duality

Add a female voidling that is a himedere. And a champion that wants to take over the whole runeterra and not just a faction of it or not creatures that want to consume runeterra. And also a yandere that has a huge crush on jayce from zaun, make her a chem baron too... we need female chem barons!

A cheerful but very lowclass Demacian soldier guy. To get a glimpse at what the non-noble soldiers act like. I'm thinking an overly friendly cockney with a hint of iron behind some of his jokes.

And on the opposite spectrum, I want to see a Demacian noble asshole. Someone who treats commoners as beneath them and demands their respect while coasting on his titles.

Probably would be difficult to justify that person as a champion though.

We sort of count Taric, but if you want one that's canon we have Kayn

Albeit for all we know his male x male love for Zed isn't sexual, he might just be so edgy that he wants to become the same mind as Zed and experience his own shadow or some shit

Though really sexuality has very little to do with personality or how they play in-game. Tracer in OW worked well for about a year and everyone loved her and they just put it out there that she has a girlfriend at last years Xmas event. Did that have a significant impact on her personality or gameplay? Not even a small one, she's still bubbly, energenetic, fast, reckless Tracer. We just know she likes to scissor cute girls now.

Yeah, dude, that's kind of not cool.

Riot is literally the only source for canonical league info when it comes to characters, relationships, etc. We kind of hang on every single word you say and if you say something about a character (unless you instantly add a disclaimer or joke), we take it seriously and consider it a part of the character regardless of who from Riot says it. Just try not to do that too much because we don't want to second guess if your "Amumu was a girl in life" comment was serious or a joke.

To be clear I wasn't implying what Kayns sexuality is or isn't. I was just pointing out that Daniel's comment was more for fun than canon.

I wouldn't consider that as a mistake by Riot but more so a select group of people blowing stuff out of proportion on the internet as usual. To me it was pretty obvious the comment wasn't serious

Perhaps to you but like I said in the above post, people look to ALL of Riot when they want lore info. Unless you're specifically saying it's a joke (or it's so outlandish like Teemo's blowdart is a darkin), people will take it seriously.

To me it makes more sense to take as canon only what is written on official avenues like champ bios and events. I guess you could say Riot is making a mistake by not predicting does kind of comments make people go "wild", but really no one should take as canon what a Rioter writes on Reddit unless they specifically say it is cannon. That is a better approach to it I think, rather than Rioters having to constantly supervise what they say so as to not mislead people

This is true, but at the same time stories/bios/etc will never tell the whole story. There are numerous small aspects of characters that get lost because A.) They're not in the story or B.) they're too small to get a major point in the story.

Say, for example, a character like Ezreal has a tattoo. We're never going to know that unless someone comes out and says "Oh yeah Ezreal has tats" or they hamfist a story reason for Ezreal to go shirtless and show off the weird "E ♥ T" tattoo on his upper arm.

But the biggest issue was that this was a Rioter, the designer of the champion no less, saying a major fact when someone asked about Kayn's relationship with Zed. Regardless of how you feel, this was a major and important note about the character that you can't easily brush off as a joke unless you say so.

BTW, he also wrote this about Urgot: "Urgot is housed in a maximum efficiency chemtech body. Nipples are superfluous and thus must be removed for maximum efficiency."

Guess that is canon now until clarified

....Uh. There's a huge variance in how those two questions are answered. They're not even remotely the same.

Besides, "having a crush on someone" usually means you're attracted to them in some facet.

I want a duo champion that is an actual duo, not a pet and an owner. Even if there's a main champion why not have a button to command the other like Annie and tie the buttons to skills for both? Like maybe some Yordle twins or something so you can justify the individual champs being weak and you utilize their teamwork to lane.

Riot needs to make a champ who is SUPER fake. Like think about Lux and how positive she is in her quotes that everyone hears. What if there was a champ whose thoughts were actually malicious. Like the player hears their real emotions but everyone else gets the nice stuff. Taunts and other emotes would drop the facade too.
