Singed Interaction

Swain's interaction with Singed brings up someone named "Darkwill," is this Boram Darkwill by any chance from the pre-retcon lore? I thought Boram was no longer a canon figure in Noxus lore since his character was kind of associated with the institute of war with the whole "kalamanda" incident?

Also, I have another question. What connection does Singed have with Boram Darkwill? I don't recall reading anything about Singed in Darkwill's pre-retconned story.

So is Singed the only person that is alive that knows who truly assassinated Boram Darkwill? During the Kalamanda event, Swain was pushing the blame over to the Demacians and to be honest, from day 1, I had a feeling that Swain was behind the assassination. He wanted to get rid of his rival and Darkwill was a general so politically I think, swain wanted him gone? But that's just my opinion.

Boram Darkwill is indeed still a figure from the updated lore, although not a lot is known about him. It was Boram Darkwill that began Sion's resurrection, but he was displeased with the result and left the zombie Sion to rot in his own memorial, until Jericho Swain found him decades later and completed the resurrection. There is also a son, Keiran Darkwill, though not much is known about him. Both Keiran and Boram are thought to be dead in the present-time lore.

No idea what either of them have to do with Singed though. Singed is older than he looks, but even so it would be weird for him to have a connection to any Noxian nobility prior to the Ionian wars.

Boram is still canon. He was the previous grand general and since that is now Swains position it is safe to assume that he was killed in the new lore as well.

Singeds connection to him likely dates back to the ionia war. Remember that Noxus used chemical weapons in that war, which they got from warwick in the old lore. However WW was never a scientist in the new lore,so it is likely that Singed was the one who provided Noxus with chemical weapons during the invasion.

So Swain likely refers to Singed providing weapons for Noxus during the ionia invasion,as the ionia invasion happened under Borams command.
