[Edit] And with that - the Edge of the World wins with 69 votes to The Girl Who Came Back's 33. Congrats to a tale of misery, hubris, and betrayal! Yay!

#2018 Lore Tournament: Day 3 Welcome to day 3 of the 2018 Lore Tournament!

We've seen Nunu's mum tell us a story, Ezreal try to convince us (or maybe himself?) of the greatness of his explorations, seen Swain handle a minor inconvenience on the front lines, and watched Nidalee lay down some stone cold payback!

Today we'll decide if we prefer the story of Kai'Sa teaching a young girl how to deal with the Void, or the tale of a hyper ambitious Noxian commander bringing the Empire to the jungle.

I can recommend taking a re-read of the Kai'Sa story - it feels like it was released so very long ago (2018, eh? Crazy.) At the Edge of the World, on the other hand, was only released a few days ago, and may still be fresh! Fresh and bloody. So which is your fave? Both feature determined main characters in seemingly impossible environments - wrestling with fear and its consequences. One has a little girl sidekick, Illi, and the other a grizzled beast master, Ordylon. Both concern themselves with monsters :)

I sense some noxian bias here... it seems like even mediocre noxian stories get disproportionately high votes.

After reading other story's about void incidents and how cuts from void monsters or being touched by void matter results in their death(or amputation of bodypart). I can't call any kai'sa lore/stories good when her survival is based on something that near directly conflicts with other void lore.

Is there any way of checking when a story was released, I've found story's on the LoL wiki but there rarely/never a release date.

good abyss story edit: ok she even conflicts with lore from this year wow.

"edge of thw world" was a great story to reintroduce the kumungu jungle into modern lore with it's mysterious and lethal environment.

I love the horror aspect of At the Edge of the World. As I said in another thread, I'm a fan of eldritch horror, especially when the land itself is the monster.

At the Edge of the World is just soooo nice. I loved it (and it's the first long story I've read&understood in English. The others I read in French. So I'm kinda attached to that one). The Girl who Came Back isn't bad tho. Just that I like Kumungu's story better!

Edit: I totally forgot to vote when I wrote that lol
