Upon an old musty tome was placed a horrid curse. A dark maiden, shrouded in shadows was locked away within its pages, never to be heard of again; however, that was not to remain, for whosoever opens the book shall release heinous monstrosities unlike that we have ever seen.

These fiends were The Inquisitor, The Cursed Revenant, and The Black Scourge. These demons were let loose upon our world, seeking to steep it deeper into darkness. And lastly, the maiden herself has appeared. The pages burned as she escaped her eternal prison. One who has answered the call. He who will hunt down the souls of those damned, cursed wretches, and pierce the darkness of the veil with his light. That is, lest he falls to the maiden's corruption and the dark influence of the cursed weapon he wrenched from her decrepit grasp. Now free from his slumber, he must finish the story which he has written so many centuries ago and end the tale of the Soul Hunter once...and for all.
Or something like that. I don't really know. Yorick was probably the main badguy and somehow got free. I don't really know. I just know that this is a universe that'll be interesting to see unfold.
