Am I the only one who is getting tired of all these leaks?

I'm asking because it takes away from the hype of the teasers, sneak peaks, etc. Any thing Riot has for their campaigning to promote teh champion feels less because we already see it. Part of the hype is not knowing who/what/how the champion is. We don't have anything to couple with it but images of him in game to actually make the champion appear bigger than life; to give us a glimpse into his mind; to give us a glimpse into his reality.

I mean, can you imagine if we fully saw Jhin's model and what he does BEFORE we saw Mind of the Virtuoso? I mean, it's a great video and whatnot, but we wouldn't be theory crafting or going "OMG, how does he look. What the heck is happening?".

No. We will look at it, say his name, point at the model, and overall dissect it not for artistic brilliance but to say, "Wait, is this 1:1 what he's suppose to look like?"

Ever since that first leak for Xayah & Rakan as well as teh skins popping up, nothing really grabbed me or got me hyped or excited because it was all spewed out before anything could be drummed up. No mystery. No suspense. No "real" anticipation. Just, "Oh cool. Wonder how long it'll take. Oh, the teaser's here. Setting clock for 2 weeks from now."

I'm ALWAYS tired of content leaks. People literally risking their jobs to get internet karma. Like wtf who does that. Complete fucking twats is who.

If you're referring to the new champ "leak," I think that was an intentional teaser on Riot's part. We'll likely get details today when datamining on the updated PBE starts. We're patching tomorrow, so the timing isn't an accident, I think.

i got tired of the leaks back when Elementalist Lux was leaked months in advance... ruined all hype for the skin and just turned it into "so when will it come out?" it's a really good skin, so it should have gotten the hype it deserved, but the leaks ruined that.

Honestly, I don't really like leaks. I like the surprise and mystery of a teaser much more than the leaks like we got for this champion.

Kayn got leaked like 10 hours before the actual reveal. How much theorycrafting can you really do.

I personally don't care about trailers and teasers at all. I would much rather see the champs abilities... That gets me far more hyped. I wouldn't say I give no shits about lore at all, but compared to gameplay there's no competition in my eyes, and all teasers and trailers are good for is showing the champs personality or their story or what ever. After I saw the leak for the new champ I don't know about you but that got me pretty hyped to play him.

To be honest, I've been feeling like leaks are replacing teasers more and more.

I don't know how I feel about it. There's certainly less discussion on the boards with every teaser now. I remember back during the Kindred leak how hyped everyone was.

Jep, kinda agree with it.

I mean, I have nothing against Riot surprising me, but the moment the leak is out, I will hear about it anyway, so it's... there. Ofc, we still getting hyped, but it does take the magic from a teaser.

I miss then we had such amazing teaser as for Jinx and Jhin.

Kayn's wasn't really that unusual though. We usually get some kind of leak the day of a new champion reveal anyway, this isn't new.

Theory: Champs that don't have any Hype art/vid/story planned for their release get "leaked", because in a way, that is the hype.
