True story: One of our marvelous translators from Turkey was in on our final writers room where we were doing the last tweaks and polish before sending for localization. We really wanted to get her take on it as she's a huge lore aficionado. When we got to the Gangplank intro, she said it really made her feel a bit sick.

I think the sentiment we had was "Perfect!"

No no, I think it was a great scene, especially when afterwards GP rewarded the kid. I can totally see this guy as a captain of his own ship while still earning the respect from his crew. You screw up, you're punished. You do good, you're rewarded.

It gets me excited for what's in store for Riven and Yasuo now =D

I freakin' loved the Gankplank chapter. What a great characterization of a pirate lord: Ruthless and ruling, brutal and cultured. Brilliance squared!

Exactly, he's brutal yet benevolent. If there was anyone in this world that would have read Machiavelli's "The Prince", it would be Gangplank. He rules by the book!

If this is the quality the lore guys have been working on behind the scenes,then I say they're taking the right steps.I look forward to when they bring this lore love to the rest of the lol roster & the world of Valoran as a whole.

Though for now,I should focus on looking forward to the rest of Burning Tides.

This is what I was hoping for, although its a bit different than what I anticipated, its still amazing lore that I'm already hooked on.

Huzzah for LORE!!! I am so happy to learn that there is actually story to go with the game. I feared that League was doomed to go the way of COD. All repetitive game play and no story or changes. I can't wait for the next chapters. And then the stories after that. I hope this becomes a regular thing. Every week we get new chapters or a new story starts, etc. I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!! Ahri
