These stories are really written like ancient myths. They have the right tone for a myth and have gods shaping the world, committing accidental arson, and having family spats. Just the kind of stuff you'd see Zeus and his siblings doing. All in all?

Passable.

Both of Ornns siblings seem pretty jealous of him.

I didn't think Anivia to be such a bitch honestly. I always thought of her as wise, calm and gentle - not someone to keep a big accident a secret. Also Volibear seems to be a douche and even steals Ornns armor. Voli fits into the "War Bear" Theme, but I always thought he was more...noble than that.

Great stories overall, very well written and I enjoyed the read very much, but the content was a tiny bit disappointing in my opinion.

Overall these stories were quite enjoyable and they really felt like myths of a god, which I really liked :) And going by the story it actually sounds like Volibear isn't even an ursine himself,as it says that

Others, such as Volibear, refuse to allow their own legends to fade, and still stalk this world. He demands sacrifice and forces obedience, much like the Ursine…

Which sounds like Volibear isn't an ursine himself. Instead it seems likely that the ursine are volibears followers as it was mentioned in the last story that they were malformed by their efforts to appease Volibear,so it is possible that the ursine were once humans who used magic to transform themselves into bears(or at least partially)

Though one thing confuses me: If Ornn made the door so that no one can enter the treasure chamber, then how did the troll boy get inside the vault? Someone must have opened the door(possibly Lissandra? After all it was originally said that this was one of her traps)

Wait wait wait,

Is Ornn's favorite eating fork Fizz's trident? ######If yes, then who has Ornn's spade?

'Nother question: Is Ivern also a Demi-god?

And another one: If Ornn, Volibear, and Anivia are Demi-gods, what kind of being is their parent?

One Two questions though

What is with big stone related guys and their fetish for punching mountains?

And since Ornn belief of Magic making things weaker, what would he think of Galio and petricite?

There's a part of this story I don't really understand. It's about the Three Sisters.

If i got it right (and i think i probably didn't) the first sister was Serylda (fierceness and war, the Winter's claw is like that), the second was Avarosa (hope and wisdom, same for her clan) and the third was Lissandra (magic). Why would Lissandra, the third sister, seal the creatures they were fighting (the watchers) with her magic if she worships them?

Is she trying to win her sisters over so she could betray them, just putting the watchers to sleep, or does she have an agenda of her own? Either way, it doesn't sound like something Lissandra would do... if that's even her.

I totally guessed right out that Voli would be one of his siblings!! I had a slight inkling about Anivia too, but wasn't sure, so happy to see I was right!! Not quite in the context of the story though, they're kind of assholes to Ornn lol

So, Volibear is evil?
