@Kindlejack are the Steel Legion and Dreadnova skins related?

You mentioned before about a possible relationship between the two skin lines as factions in a space opera but it wasn't concrete. Could you settle a debate and confirm whether there is, in fact, a link?

Also, does Eternum fit into this universe?

When working on DN Darius there was talk of combining the above themes into a space opera [steel legion, dreadnova, eternum], but it was never really hashed out so not officially no.

It would be really cool.

This directly & other very fitting skinline combinations would hold so much exciting potential for the future.

Cosmic & Dark Star are a perfect match for each other in terms of dualism, visually and thematically as potentially for storytelling (the wardens of the universe protecting existence itself, for example created by consciousness/the ''overmind'' itself to cleanse space from space parasites). A lot of players connect Dark Star to Star Guardian just because of the ''Star'' showcased in the name itself I have the feeling; both skinlines do have no harmony at all with each other – one is straightly cute & shiny anime, the other grimdark cosmic horror with a much more ''serious'' design.

I agree on both counts. As skins continue to evolve I hope we see more development around alt universes!

Honestly they rarely connect skin universes unless these connections are rather obvious.

I mean people speculate that Project,Program,Battlecast or mecha are related, but none of them are. Same goes for dark star and star guardian.

PROJECT and Program are confirmed to be directly related but you're right about the others.

No they aren't. I myself thought this was the case after Programm camille had some lines for project yasuo, however they confirmed that the skinlines aren't connected.

I do believe that battlecast velcoz can be seen in project katarina splash art

GreenLore1 votes

Nope. It is Vel'koz, but it is not Battlecast Vel'koz You can see that the shape of BC Vel'kozs head are not there in the Project splash and his eyes are also differently aligned(BC vel'kozs are in a slight V-shape,but the one in the project splash has a ^-shape) https://riot-web-static.s3.amazonaws.com/images/news/February_2014/BVAN/bvsplash.jpg http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2016/28/1468370491-katarina-splash-9.jpg

I think Steel Legion and Dreadnova more accurately are Grimdark thenes, not space opera.

A bit off topic but...

I really want Dread Nova Wukong and Stell Legion Jarvan.

No, the Steel Legion skins and Darius's Bioforge skin were intended to be opposing each other.
