As a huge fan of the demons, I'm very disappointed we didn't receive much of any information about the one Swain encountered. We learned it feeds on the secrets of the dying but no information about the pact made with swain, how he conquered it or info on how the demon works and the condition it needs to feed. hopefully, a Rioter pops in to answer or tell more about it. The demons are my characters in League!

Not only would it expand the lore for demons, it would also add to Swain's character knowing how exactly he managed to outwit and subjugate a demon.
yeah i gotta say i was extremely disappointed by the new bio. it was extremely vague and unsatisfying and took out all of the mystery of his character and background as well as taking out some rather big aspects such as the respect and devotion he inspired to such incredible degrees that his superiors would request demotions to serve under him. and with the whole demon thing i honestly didnt even realize anything had happened and then suddenly hes back at noxus with the demon having restored his body and im like oh ok all you really did was vaguely say that there was some kind of evil raven or something but alright. i was actually pretty mild in my complaints before that, but the new bio was a huge disappointment, coming from myself both as a writer and as a long time fan of swain
His story sucks ass, started falling asleep reading it and I'm a huge lore nerd and swain main.
This makes me wonder if Tahm or Evelynn can make pacts with humans....although I don't wish for someone to have eve's powers. A human mind with demon powers is a whole nother level......right Swain?

I assume Swain must've made a deal of sorts with the Demon.
Demons are stated to be timeless, so it will certainly outlive Swain. I also don't think Swain could have somehow subjugated or conquered the demon (even though Swain does say he 'conquered' it). It's unlikely Swain physically or magically dominated the Demon. So I'll assume Swain either cut a deal with it or somehow outwitted it.
A demon of secrets obviously wants to feed on secrets, and a man in a position of power such as Swain obviously has the means and motive to obtain secrets of everyone around him. So maybe the Demon is empowering Swain in exchange for a steady stream of secrets? Swain gains the secrets from the soul fragments he rips out of enemies, and the quotes he speaks after doing so are fat, juicy secrets the demon is feeding on.
Alternatively, Swain may have somehow outwitted the demon, and tricked it into subjugation. This seems most likely, as Swain probably wouldn't want to be fully dependant on a Demon that only helps him because of a fickle deal. The question then is how he did it.
Just some loose speculations and theories, just wanted to leave my thoughts here.
