@Riot Is Ezreal a new standard of rework?

So now that the Ez is in and after playing quite a few games on him, I'm starting to think this might be one of Riot's more successful reworks in keeping the old feel of the champ. Unlike Galio or Urgot, this rework didn't change much of the old lore for Ez either. If anything, this just felt more like one of the visual updates from season 4 with Twitch or Nasus.

So my question now is, are we expecting to see more updates like Ezreal on champs like Janna or Ahri? Where the kit itself is left relatively intact except a few minor changes with whole new visuals. I wouldn't mind if that was the case since there are champs where the visuals leave much to be desired but the kit is still ok.

He's one of the mini VGU's that they intend to do. Updating old visuals whilst replacing those abilities that don't particularly fit whilst leaving most of the kit intact. There was a list of mini VGU candidates, can't remember which post it was on. Morgana I believe is only getting a mini VGU, just alongside Kayle (because they're sisters), so look forward to that.

Jax is on a list of Champions we would like to do smaller VgUs on if the Ezreal VgU proves to be a successful product

Veigar is one we have talked about for a update like this as well

VgU's aren't going to overshadow or decrease the major VGU candidates if that's what you're really asking.

I wish

but you know how riot and the boards can be with their absurd "muh stat check!" crusades
