A theory on why Kai'sa looks so "normal"

There's been some controversy on the boards on how non-monstrous and unmutated Kai'sa looks after surviving so long in the void. I mean Kass and Malz merely glimpsed the void and there were noticeable physical changes to them.

After thinking for a while, I started to wonder on whether she actually survived.

What if she died almost immediately and the "second skin" reanimated her to act as SOMA-eqse corpse puppet to harvest other void creatures for it to devour. The void energies she's constantly exposed to being consumed as life support and so there's little left to mutate her. There's even a good reason for the skin to reanimate her mind too, the skin gets the benefits of all her survival instincts and intelligence at no real cost to itself as she's gonna kill void creatures regardless, hijacking the human instinct of "KILL IT WITH FIRE [power]"

Uhm I feel like you didn't really read her full lore.

She wasn't trapped inside the void, she was trapped in a cave that was connected to the void. And given the fact that she is already a legend among the shurimans,I'd say it is likely that she has been out of that cave for years now,so she had plenty of time to clean up.

If you spend your life fighting monsters you’re going to be rather fit and good looking.
