Behold, Yorick's VO!

His VO sounds so dark, yet so sad, it makes me wanna give him a hug for sympathy. I could feel his pain during his conversation with the Mists, so much burden he's carrying and he's willing to fight to free the Isles, no matter the cost.

Though I like it. He's determined but he isn't ignorant. He has regrets, but shows no mercy. He has a job and he intends to get it done.

I think it's interesting, certainly well done, but it's a huge shift from recent champs like Kled and Taliyah, who are more upbeat and speedy in tone.

Yorick kinda drones on, and I do think it fits him. I don't like New GP much because he went from goofy Yo-Ho pirate to this growly, grumbly tyrant. But with Yorick, the somewhat darker tone feels like it works a little better. I'm going to miss his old voice, but the new one's good.

Interesting to note, he doesn't seem to be undead anymore (or at least never refers to himself as such), and the ghost that accompanies him is...probably the Ruined King's murdered wife? She seems like the only one who would fit into that position.

I just kinda wanted to point out this line

(Mist Maiden) "The King will return for it!"

(Yorick) "Then I will strike him down"

He also has about three other lines mentioning the Ruined King not only being a person relevant to Yorick's backstory but being ALIVE (Or whatever undead state he's currently in)

Possible hint at the Ruined King being a future champion?

He speaks VERY shakespearian. Which is hella fitting for him XD

My only guess is Scott McNeil, MIGHTY IS HE! Maybe Matt Mercer, but he's too busy going off and being WUKONG in DOTA 2.

Add ~ to the end of his quotes to make it into a crappy hentai :P Not too fond of this voice over, seems pretty bland. And is it just me or does that ghost voice sound like something from WoW? :O

So the Ruined King is still.. nondead.. And to add more, the lost souls of the Shadow Isles entity which speaks to Yorick (the Mist itself?) refers to him as "father".

So a few things we learned (if not already) from the new VO:

-Yorick does not necessarily have any new powers; he simply uses the mist to support him. If he does have new powers, he refuses to accept the full force of it.

-Yorick is immortal or ages slowly after taking on this task and whatever power he may or may not have accepted.

-The "father of the shadow isles" is the ruined king, according to the lady of the mist.

-The mist appears to be trying to take hold of yorick; perhaps this means the other residents of the shadow isles are not doing this of their free will? Or maybe their perspective has been altered by the mist? That's just speculation though.

Either way, exciting stuff! Yorick is finally back, and ready to be remembered.
