So are Zed, Sona, Garen, and Vi going to be disabled?

When Gangplank was presumed dead, he was disabled. So is it possible that will all get temporarily disabled when more lore comes out?

Highly, highly doubt it. They're all popular champions and 4 would be too many to disable compared to the GP event...

I was just thinking that if it isn't a skin set, then it must be more lore-based. But Sona's teaser in particular looked kind of brutal, like she was dead...So I'll be very interested in finding out how these champions end up not being dead. I figured, either they're disabled for a few hours or they're killed off and removed from the game--the latter of which is even more unlikely than the former.

There's a popular theory on how this champion might be a manipulative one, or one that can use weaknesses as an advantage. He targets Zed's eyes, depicting how Zed could never see enlightenment, Sona's throat as she is mute, Garen's heart as he serves solely on Demacia "with heart and sword", and Vi is likely to have her gauntlets damaged.

I doubt that these teasers are "lore based" They appear to be more of how Jihn exemplifies him/herself.

Yeah, Jinx messed up both Vi and Lucian's champ pages, but it's not like Jinx actually met Lucy at all in the retcon.

Everyone is looking at all of this too literally. If they wanted this to be lore base, it'll be more than a champ being teased through 4 very, and i mean, VERY random champions.

Yeah,also we don't even know if Riot will ever do something like disabling champ cause they died in the lore again. They might have learned from the feedback that the gimmick is not the best way to connect lore & game,who knows?

Yeah, the only connection is very distant, as I believe Sona came from Ionia--where Zed is also from--and she now resides in Demacia--where Garen is from.

Vi is utterly unconnected as far as I can tell.

I see it like how people watch Virtuoso and be like "Oh, that must be Vi! Oh, and that one's Ryze! Yeah!"

I see it, and I go, "How is that Vi? How is that suppose to be Garen? What are you people talking about?" Everyone is trying to connect all of these champions to each other when Riot said that not everyone will know everyone. No, Jihn did not kill those champions. And they were not in the cinematic teaser. If the champions WERE then you will see the blue hair of Sona. You will see Vi's guantlets somewhere instead of some random ballerina with roses on her back. You'll see a man with tribal tattoos and blue skin. Not the guy who got his egg jacked by Bard on the mountain (Yes, I said egg. One of the rioters referred to the sphere as an EGG [Ao Shin Confirmed])

I doubt that any of them died. It just would be a stupid move to kill off 4 characters just to hype a new one,especially because they would be the first dead champs and none of them were used in any meaningful stories.

The shot most likely has a totally different effect on them.

On the Thai league website there was a teaser and a fan has translated it. **Vi ** That bullet was burning hot...

When it pierce through her body, although it doesn't rip the body apart like it should, it instead create a red hot, burning flame that is capable of burning away any weapons, rendering them unusable
