When Gangplank was presumed dead, he was disabled.
So is it possible that

Highly, highly doubt it. They're all popular champions and 4 would be too many to disable compared to the GP event...
I doubt that these teasers are "lore based" They appear to be more of how Jihn exemplifies him/herself.
Yeah, Jinx messed up both Vi and Lucian's champ pages, but it's not like Jinx actually met Lucy at all in the retcon.
Everyone is looking at all of this too literally. If they wanted this to be lore base, it'll be more than a champ being teased through 4 very, and i mean, VERY random champions.

I doubt that any of them died. It just would be a stupid move to kill off 4 characters just to hype a new one,especially because they would be the first dead champs and none of them were used in any meaningful stories.
The shot most likely has a totally different effect on them.
