Several "SG_" files were added in today's update. Below is the "SG_skybox_a.dds" asset, which features art very similar to previously seen Star Guardian art. Unsure what these will be used for exactly but the handful of files are all related to map textures /environment.
Star Guardians will prob be for Patch 7.14 as 7.13 seems to be SKT's Patch

Ezreal. 9 skins total, 5 in store, 3 of which (plus all 4 legacy) do not do anything special for him at all. So having something else is always nice. People are generally wanting Riot to give these champions skins with more Particles afterall.

Ezreal seems to have gotten a large amount of skins recently though.
Aeszarck4 votesA skybox is a thing that fits over the map. (Imagine the Skybox like an oven and the map is a baking sheet you stick in the middle of it.) There are also skyspheres but I think those are pretty difficult to work with. They're just pretty much extra graphics to make the world seem more than just land, because even though it's a top down game in some cases you'll see the sky, like at the edge of the map and if the camera angle were changed (such as in a cinematic).
I'm looking forward to our Star Guardian-themed Summoner's Rift! Hopefully they do something for Twisted Treeline too.

Ezreal is fantastic no matter how hard they screw up. As long as he gets a SG skin.
Also there are clearly some eyes in what appears to be a figure. It almost looks like the figure has largers "echos' of it coming off, sort of like it shrunk or grew. At the top it almost looks like what might be Aurelion Sol's neck and under his jaw.

The Leak http://i.imgur.com/0rHd9NR.jpg that was out there has been 100% correct so far. So Syndra is high on the list of release. There have been a few others though such as the Omega Squad Trist found in the SKT vid that aren't in the leak, so it's possible for Ahri to have one but I really doubt it

Sukishoo5 votesMultiple Rioters confirmed the second leak was a complete and utter joke. They laughed at some of the stuff said in there about Eve, and they even said that it would be obvious if it were true when each one was released and we have yet to see any of that.
Hell the person that posted it said there'd be a new champion in 7.12 (tomorrow's patch) and it had their own name... yeah not someone blatantly making an obvious troll.
Fairyfleur2 votesWhile the leak has been correct so far, they didn't predict the release of Conquerer Karma, nor did they predict Chemtech Tryndamere. Not to say it won't happen, but the farther we get, the more likely these final skins have been scrapped for other concepts.
Sukishoo4 votesThey didn't have those because there are plenty of things that leaks don't have, it's nice they can't spoil everything. It was said to be someone on a tour and it was rough info from like 6 months prior. Plus it's not like they had a chance to look around at every last thing that was being worked on at the time.
The leak didn't even have the fact that Riven/Yasuo skins were Legendary as well. They didn't have the SKT skins either and those are up next (and from the video they had been in production since before March). Star Guardians will be most likely seen on the PBE around the 27th so we will know for sure then.
Things change but pretty sure most all of it will still happen even if there are others added in there too, like as we saw from the SKT video there's an Omega Squad Tristana as something that could be coming as well since the name was seen on one of the tabs on a computer screen.

I can imagine Syndra being "First Star" purely because her orbs could be other stars she has created in the universe. I mean...planets revolve around stars like her orbs does her, so...

Soraka would perfectly fit that trope and way better than Syndra. Just saying: that Syndra is powerful doesn't mean she suits the position of the first star better than Soraka. And didn't it get mentioned that Jinx is actually the strongest Star Guardian?
And having a mother figure as the leader would in my opinion fit the protective nature of the Star Guardians.

Which is possible from a narrative point of view. The trope of a scholar surpassing the mentor is not new in story telling.
All I say is that there are arguments for both, Soraka and Syndra being the first star. Obviously you prefer Syndra as a symbol of might being the first star, while I prefer Soraka because she is a symbol of altruism and sacrifice, which is what the Star Guardians should be centered around in my opinion.
