Just wondering with the changes in lore what do you think would happen if Vayne crossed paths with Lucian?
I know people like to pair them in fanfic since they are so similar thematically. 2 demacian adcs that hunt the things that go bump in the night. Lucian purifies the undead. Vayne hunts and kills magical creatures (which presumably would include undead).
But from the looks of it Vayne is actually crazier than Jinx so who knows.
It would really depend on the context in which they come across one another.
Lucian encountered MF which not many people were expecting and I doubt many people thought MF & Luc would fight side by side.
For all we know Vayne would end up hating Luc for his light pistols thinking they're some kind of evil magic or just magic in general.
I guess the 2 would likely consider an alliance for some time,but that would only work out until Lucian finds out what kind of person Vayne really is.

I feel like Vayne and Lucian would need to not confuse each other for bad guys. Many people would assume Vayne would go after Lucy for the weapons, but she won't. At least, not for the short term. She's smart enough to know what's what. Her crazy, show boaty antics is because she just FEELS like it, but she has enough knowledge and wit to figure it out.
If anything, of the two, Vayne may know more in general or have quicker deduction skills than Lucian. What Vayne lacks that Lucian has is morality. Lucian may be on a path of Vengeance, but thanks to MF, he at least understands that he can't BLINDLY rush in to make Thresh pay. That is something Vayne hasn't learned yet if ever at all. MF got her revenge and realized the consequences. Lucian had to shake his off in order to come to his own realizations.
Vayne? Oh...she's possessed right now.
But yeah. If Lucy and Vayne meet each other, they'll probably give each other side glances and walk past because the other doesn't interest them until a fight breaks out (like Lucy and MF). And when that happens, the team up is only as good as what VAYNE needs. She will back stab Lucian if the case needs.
Lets set em up on a shadow isles date for 2 and see what happens

I think Vayne would hunt Lucian for using Magical Artefacts (his guns).
Lucian and Vayne would probably not interact. They are both on missions and, per their lines and lore, care about nothing else. Vayne might at most be suspicious of Lucian’s light pistols.
