What kind of traits,themes,aesthetic,weapons,accents would you like to see in future champs.

So like the title, What kind of traits,themes,aesthetic,weapons,accents,etc. would you like to see in future champs. Because its interesting to see the communities suggestions about this kinds of topic. Specially the weapons portion. I wrote a forum once about "what kind of weapons/powers would you like to see be added to the game" for 4 hours but didn't publish it because of net problems. I was frustrated at that time and didn't wrote back up because it was long and I easily forgot the references/what did I wrote.

If you're wondering why I didn't include the personalities in the title, its because I also wrote a thread about that in the past(8 months to be exact). That threads name is Personality Types and New Champs that you want to see in LOL [ COMMENT SUGGESTIONS ] and I created that thread because riot/riot meddler at the time wants to know what kind of personalities we would like to see be entered into the game. A tsundere /Flamboyant Character are examples and I also want a separate thread regarding about that because meddlers thread has mix topics like gameplay in his post.

So without further adieu lets begin this thread with want i want too see in future champs. I'll make them short though.

Unfortunately, I will mention personalities/new champ that I like to be added into the game first , in case you're wondering and you're too lazy to click the link I gave above.

  • A girl with a long hair hime cut who is always bored, has a bored expression even if she kills a person and very sloth-y.
  • A Multi Personality Disorder champ that has a unique personality in each persona.
  • A small(not actually small but petite woman) but terrible girl, has a kuudere personality(doesn't show emotions) especially when it comes to fighting, a psychopath maybe.
  • A happy go lucky male( like lux) in the outside but sinister and evil in the inside. A good looking jerk fits this. We need common troupes in LOL too you know.
  • A shy type character but after it levels it gains confidence
  • A hag/mother figure/grandma champ. we need this riot! Don't let us down and try to hear suggestions from the community.
  • A support that is some form of military commander who is essentially trying to grab the ADC by the scruff of their neck and shove them into the fray.( not my idea).
  • A hairmancer champ. Please riot. This will be a challenge considering that hair modeling is hard to make lol.

Now for my new suggestions

  1. A whip wielding champ. A whip is a great weapon and full of interesting themes to be collaborated with. Plus the community wants it too.
  2. A fan wielding champ. I like fans as a weapon though and its a great opportunity. I don't know why riot remove that to karma's aesthetics though.
  3. A mage that uses fragrance as an attack. Imagine this as a CC bot champ lol. One ability will cause sleep/poison/paralysis(or stun). This is a great support lol.
  4. A champ like Invoker from DOTA. Who wouldn't like a champ that has 9/12 abilities.
  5. A champ that can use non point and click abilities to heal but as a skillshot to heal allies and damages enemies at the same time. Like Pheonix' Sun Ray from DOTA 2. this spell state's "Phoenix expels a beam of light at the cost of its own health. The beam damages enemies and heals allies for a base amount plus a percentage of their health. The percentage increases as the beam continues to fire."
  6. Champs that has a scottish accent, spanish accent and an autralian accent like junkrat in overwatch. I like accents because they give more depth to champions. Yeah I know runeterra is not from our real world BUT its based upon it. And don't argue with me about this because there are champs like fiora who has a french accent.
  7. Another black champ but a girl this time to create more diversity. Plus a girl with a hair like this/ a Queen Nefertiti Hair (because it cool) which is nice considering that we need to get out of the same sexy archetypes for a bit.
  8. A singer champ that uses sound waves as an attack. I know we have the death singer but he is more like a death bringer to me lmao.
  9. A crazy acrobatic clown girl. We already have shaco as the jester/clown theme/aesthetic but we need a female one too.
  10. A fairy champ or just a small being. Maybe a pixie vastaya? I just want diversity in champ sizes in LOL in game and now that riot is replacing the old champs model to a more precise height. I'll miss kayle's small height once her VGU is live in the future.
  11. A champ like Discordia from smite. Making teams fall inlove with you is nice lol. ( I clearly mean teammates not enemies unlike rakan, eve and ahri)
  12. A peacemaker champ. Karma needs an ally.
  13. A lynx cat champ. Maybe an ascended/ a vastaya. I don't care which theme will this fall as long as riot would create a champ like this.

I have a lot more ideas and if I continue this maybe it'll finish up until 2028 but for now this is the only list that i can produce. And if riot may see this, i give them my regards about this. They could just easily mix 2 or 3 traits from this list to make a new champ lol. Like add 3+6+10 to make a fairy/pixie support that uses fragrance to attack and has a scottish/irish accent from the glade/kumungu jungle.

So with my suggestions, what's yours?

I want more heavy connections to previous champions that changes these said champions and makes you look at them in a different light. For example, Jhin really changed Zed’s motives and character. On another note Jhin also brought a dark element to Ionia same with Camille and Piltover. On the other hand, Kai’sa with Kassadin and Malzahar was underdeveloped. Zoe’s love for Ezreal and hatred of Lux was pointless and barley changed anything. In conclusion, more champions like Jhin, Camille and their impact. I want new champions to make an impact.

I have several.

  1. Roman Legionnaire style tanky support character, whose design is based around making melee Bot laners viable. Since Swain lost his title of the tactician, I want it to get on this guy. A whole lot of abilities based around making your team fight as an organized disciplined unit.

  2. Demacian lowborn pikeman. Based a bit on the Swiss pikemen, with a huge melee range and abilities based around area control and preventing the enemy from engaging your team. I think it would be neat to see how the Demacian lower class act and behave. Since apparently everyone in Demacia with an opinion is an aristocrat, it'd be a neat change of pace. Plus, you can get an interesting story going about a man's struggles against a restrictive class system, always fun.

  3. A guy who uses a longsword that actually uses a longsword. So, I've always been pretty disappointed with how Riot handles big swords. They've made 4 two-handed sword fighters: Aatrox, Garen, Riven, and Tryndamere. Of which Aatrox is more designed around being like one of the boring Dark Souls bosses, Tryndamere is just about whacking people with artless fury, and Garen and Riven are really just doing their own really weird things. I want to see a technical, awesome longsword warrior. My dream is that each of his abilities are Stances each Stance has a passive component, but more importantly, switching into a Stance gives a different ability depending on which Stance you started in. So, let's say you want to get into Q Stance, if you were in W Stance the active ability would not be the same as if you were in E Stance before switching to Q Stance. Even though after the active ability, the passive would always be just the normal Q Stance passive. It's like a less complicated Invoker from Dota2, only with a sword.

  4. Old Hag of Noxus. I would love to see your generic old lady witch, seriously, go full Baba Yaga on her. I would not be opposed to her ultimate involving a house that runs around on chicken legs. Only, I want her to be the single nicest Noxian that we ever see. Referring to all the other Noxians as her "chilluns" and nagging at them in the way only grandmas can nag, making a point that strength comes from within, not from being mean to everyone else. It would be hilarious.

  5. Knight and his Squire. Getting an actual mounted knight with lance and all would be awesome. But since that might seem generic, it'd be neat to get one with their squire with them at all times and you have to control them both. Bonus points if you get some great banter between them. Maybe the squire acts a bit more realistic to the honor above everything knight. Or reverse it, maybe the knight has abandoned even the trappings of chivalry and the squire grows increasingly disappointed in who he serves.

  6. Pollaxe. It can stab. It can cut. It can bash. It's one of my favorite weapons of all time, and it's not in this game. Which is sad. Pollaxes are awesome. I don't have any ideas on what to do with this. I just want to see some pollaxes.

A Girl with Dual Swords ( Fighter type not assassin) and the Accent of Morág from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Or Nia´s Accent ( same game)

Only thing I can think of at the moment is someone completely delusional, paranoid and mentally damaged. Someone that thinks that they can't die and will overcome any threat they face, maybe even being obsessive about it, always reassuring themself that no matter what happens, fate is on their side. But for once I'd like that sort of character not being driven mad by something tragic, just simply having some sort of mental illness that led them to slowly spiral into this sort of delusional and obsessive state. It could also play into the champs gameplay and visuals somehow. Maybe some death defying power (not a revive, something entirely new).

New accents from anywhere would be awsome, bc i have the feeling that most champs have american/neutral accents. To accompany those accents new personalities that would evoke traits from that country/culture. For example:

  • An attractive, funny, young but experimented, rogue/rascal, Don Juan with Spanish accent and a spanish-like name. Don´t know what role to give him though... an ADC that throws daggers with safe playstyle?

  • A strong, ferocious but kind, tribal warrior with strong African accent, with a juggernaut playstyle that uses lance and shield (masai style).

  • The Roman Legionnaire support mentioned by Warlod Dienekes but lazy, extremely inteligent and with Italian accent.

I'd LOVE an old, wicked, ugly witch. I mean, Lissandra is described as "old" and a "witch" but she's not really feeling like any of it. I want a traditional fairytale-witch who cackles, curses and acts spiteful and mean. An old hag with a humpback and warts. Think of Looney Tunes' Witch Hazel, DIsney-Snow White's witch or The Witcher's Crones. Classic AP midlaner or support. I could imagine that her skills sorround curses, transformations, summonings and poison.

  1. Elementalist mage, similar to Invoker, but with 4 elements and releasing a third mixed spell after using 2 base spells: Would be incredibly broken in pro hands and nerfed beyond mercy, but it would be super interesting for those that want a more mechanically complex champion.

  2. Multi personality masked character, with each mask changing the personality and voicelines of the character, while also altering in some way the basic skills (think Rhaast and Shadow Assassin Kayn). Lending the mask to fellow champions to give them special buffs related to the mask would be also possible.

  3. Clueless and forgetful, but good-hearted alchemist that can craft potions from materials gathered during the game in order to boost allies or itself.

  4. Sadistic, joker-like entity (the kind that would tell you a joke, and while you are both laughting, get close and whisper in your ear that its going to kill you right now) that can use portals to move around, use skills from them and in general play tricks on the enemy team

  5. A defector of the kinkou that can proyect its spiritual power behind it to form a guardian that can help it to attack and defend, being able to separate it from the main body and use it to fight further from it. Many would say a Stand, I see it more like Ansem's hearthless guardian from Kingdom Hearts

  1. an elephant man character, sort of like Ganesha who could potentially be an Ascended. It would be a nice way to diverge from the idea of Shurima being so heavily influenced by Ancient Egypt and help make it stand out as its own thing.

  2. 4 armed fighter

  3. a Freljordian Yordle

  4. Another fighter who uses an odd object as a weapon in the same sense as Jax with his lamp.

  5. A Nun chuck user. could make them over sized with blades on the ends to give them a unique feel or something.

I've always thought it would be cool to have a ghost/spirit champ. Someone who died, but is for some reason held back in this world. Riot hasn't really established any support for ghosts in Runeterra :/ though I'd prefer it's a one of a kind champ (there aren't ghosts in Runeterra, just one being who, through unique circumstances, became a ghost). I could see some Shadow Isles voodoo or Ionia spirit magic explaining it.
