I think Ekko believes that Vi and Jinx are dead.

So we have learned that Ekko puts portraits of his fallen friends on that mural. So why are jinx and vi there? Does Ekko believe they are dead?

Their family members might believe that. Ekko didnt paint all of the wall ya know.

I suspect its more like they're dead to him. He considers Vi a traitor, since she went to Piltover. Not sure about Jinx, guess she technically did leave Zaun to go play with Vi though.

The wall is for people he couldn't save. I'm guessing he blames himself for what happened, just like he blames himself for sending ajuna out for food. where do you see their faces though?

Does it state somewhere the wall is of those who are dead?

To me it's like a family portrait. A memory. Those who are dead, this is all he has left of them(to him). In Vi and Jinx's case it's his memory of them when they were his family.

Where are Jinx and Vi on the mural? There is a girl with light blue hair like jinxs, but its been confirmed that jinx dyes her hair,so she could have looked different when she was younger(and honestly, most pictures are kinda badly drawn, that could be any girl with light blue hair).

And well it would make sense for Vi to be on the mural considering that Vi seemingly grew up in piltover without any memory of her home(so whatever family VI might have had, probably thought she was dead),but I can't see Vi on the mural either(and VI should be noticeable because of her VI-tatoo)
