Since Skarner is in his related champions tab Now I'm just curious how Jayce found that crystal. He doesn't seem like an explorer to me

Probably found its way to Piltover through trading. Piltover is a huge economic market after all.

Also I can't wait for Skarner to find his way to Piltover. That'll be awesome and hilarious.

Did you read Jayce;s lore? He didn't find the crystal, he was commissioned to research it. It was either traded to Piltover or the people who stole crystals were other Piltover explorers, like Ezreal.

When Piltover commissioned him to study a rare arcane crystal, Jayce discovered it could be used as a vast energy source.

Man I can see already how everyone will accuse Jayce of being to brackern because of this. I mean he is pretty much a case of the "ron the death eater"-trope(basically someone who is depicted as good in canon,but is regarded as evil by many fans) already,so I am sure that his haters will jump on it,the moment we get to know more about it.
