Hextech Renekton Disappointment

11/19 PBE Update

As excited as I am for a new Renekton skin..I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of the in game model for a mythic skin. It looks AMAZING in the splash art, but I feel falls short in game. It looks very brassy with washed out blues, and it looks like a slightly better Renektoy. The textures and quality of the skin on his model look like vanilla wow armor...where it literally looks like a design was spray painted on him. No texture at all, and the large gold bolts look like a Renektoy chroma almost. Don't get me wrong I'm excited Renekton is getting a hextech (trophy) skin, but I feel the quality of the skin is lacking compared to the others, or even just most modern Epic skins to be honest. For being such a 'rare' skin, I feel a little bad using my hard earned gem stones on a skin that's design isn't as colorful/textured as legendary and even most epic skins. Any other Renekton fans who feel similar?

Yeah, I was just talking to a friend that is a pretty hardcore Renekton fan. He's been looking for a skin for a while. All I could say is the splash looks fantastic. The in game model is on a really bad rig so it moves poorly, on top of that it looks very flat in colors. Definitely the worst of all the Hextechs. I feel bad for Renekton fans that this is what they waited for. He wont be getting another skin anytime soon (probably not until after his VGU) so hopefully they do some more work to it before it goes live.

KateyKhaos replied to a post on the PBE feedback thread, they'll be looking into making adjustments to the textures
