Don't want to be nitpicky here, but isn't that actually branding? At least it doesn't look like he is getting a tattoo. More like they are burning something on his skin with chemicals, maybe acid? Is there a special name for the process if you do it with acid?
What are they tattoos of though? The one he's currently getting looks like the Zaun faction symbol.
