What if the new champion is hate/darkness. all people meet this man so that could mean that we all encounter the darkness inside as at some point and no one likes to see the darkness inside them which would imply the shunning. And when the darkness splits himself he could have made love/light.

That being said The hivemind has basically determined that it is likely life and death themed.
