The Bearded Lady: Goddess of Bilgewater

From what we've learned this "bearded" lady is a local deity. The beard isnt hair though, it's tentacles. This god has at least one temple, in bilgewater, but it seems it was built long before bilgewater was constructed. What I wonder is, was this a human deity, or a deity originally worshipped by an aquatic race like the Marai or Fizz's people.

Now this might be stretching a bit , but....I cant help but draw comparisons between the deity statues on Butcher's Bridge and the frozen watchers on Howling Abyss. I'm wondering if the civilization that built the temple, or the entity it represents will play a larger role in League Lore.

Bilgewater is already threatened by the Harrowings of the Shadowisles, but....could some unspeakable secrets lay yet undiscovered within that temple?

Gonna keep pretending it is the golden cracken of House Greyjoy and the only god they know is the drowned god.

What is dead may never die.

The Bearded Lady is Naga, Illaoi's god. It will likely play a major role in the future, as it already has played a major role when it exorcised all of Bilgewater from the Black Mist.
