I don't think he feels alone, when Skaarl is around (even if he doesn't directly admit it)

I doubt he ever feels alone, since he does have Skaarl, and brain badgers, and invisible weasels.

However, feeling alone is not equitable to actually being alone. From what it sounds like, Kled has literally no one besides Skaarl, whom he hallucinates speaking on a regular basis. Is it him just being crazy, or a subtle desire for sentient companionship?

Either that, or he actually says the truth when he doesn't want anyone on his ground, except him, Skaarl and his badgers. But to know about that we need some red enlightenment, I think
