Just like the title we will now have 5 teams that can do either new champ/VGU. So by next year, we can assume that we can get many of those 2 but i have a petition, why not add another team to make it 6. would it be nice to sped up the processes. By that, we can assume it like this. Now that urgot is ready for live 6 months prior today is january (bec it will take up 6 months to create a VGU/new champ) so the next VGU/new champ is in January and the team is now up for a new development and by my petition we could get a schedule of this adding the 6th team.

Jan - VGU (team 1) Feb - VGU (team 2) Mar - New Champ (team 3) Apr - VGU (team 4) May - VGU (team 5) Jun - VGU (team 6) Jul - New Champ (team 1) Aug - VGU (team 2) Sep - VGU (team 3) Oct - VGU (team 4) Nov - New Champ (team 5) Dec - VGU (team 6)

By this way we could sped up the VGU's, make plenty of time not go to waste and make it more balance(by slowing the making of new champs to give way to VGU's and after the all VGU's are done we can have many more new champs in the future so a little sacrifice is much needed). And Iám aware that GU teams are diff from VGU/new champ teams and also i know eve is the next VGU.

PS: OMG!!! 9 VGU's!! so now we can see the VGU's of nunu, swain, morde, pant, akali, malp, fiddle, cho and kayle/morg in 1 year!!

I absolutely agree with you. Your scheme is looking great. Riot should def use it.

The thing is that we have too many tier-1 candidates. And there is something that needed to be done about that. And it's not even mentioning some Tier-2 candidates that look and sound like shit, that will not see any work with rate the same as now till 2020. With primary examples like Cait, Veigar, Blitz and etc.

And that makes me real sad.

Think it'd be nice if they increased their VGU cadence in favor of getting all those Tier 1 champions out of the way. Their survey/data collection says the community's split on that matter though, with half preferring new champions and the other half preferring VGUs (aside from those who don't mind either way).

In theory it would all be very nice and orderly, but not all VGU's take 6 months. some might take 5,7,8 or more.

If they COULD do this, I'd think they'd've done it already

Only 3 new champions a year? No offense, but they should honestly balance out the quantity of VGUs to new champs. For one, there are players like myself who prefer to meet new characters and are sometimes let down by reworks. But then also, if Riot were to just rush out as many VGUs as they could, then they could very quickly lose their purpose for existing in the first place. What I mean by this is that VGUs are meant to bring old champions who are showing their age into the modern era. With that many VGUs a year though, it would very quickly get to the point where champions that are generally popular and accepted in their current form are getting reworked. At which point change is being done just for the sake of change.

Your concept shows a 75/25 split in favor of VGUs. As far as I know, that is not happening that soon.

It got mentioned that they will split new champions and VGUs evenly, then increasing the amount of VGUs slowly over time. Having a 3 times as many VGUs as new champions next year is not gonna happen.

And I am actually ok with that. While I have many champions I want to see reworked (like Dr. Mundo and Rammus), I enjoy new champions as well and I would like these 2 things to be balanced. And let's be real, no VGU coming in the future is ever gonna beat shotgunknees Urgot. :P

I think team 1/2 might take longer for the vgus. I'm not expecting the champ after eve before march, because there is preseason, Christmas and such in between.

However, I absolutely agree with you that the Champion Updates should have priority over New Champs as we are heading towards the 150 Champ mark soon. If Rito manages to produce 7 VGUs I will be pretty satisfied.

I think it takes longer than a month to finish one of these, it has to go through live balance and animation teams depending on how much is changed. Also from what I understand the new champion team is entirely seperate from VGUs, they want both to have active progress instead of shifting them around and it keeps everyone on the same page.

I like new champions but I do agree that we should have more VGUs for now
