Thanks to another thread I have come to the conclusion that these fish things are named "Bilgerats".

But I dunno. Feels like a cool name to me though.

EDIT: Apparently they're actually named "Wharf Rats" so we were close with rats and ship terminology!

I think I know; doesn't Gangplank has a VO line with that? "Nothing but a Bilgerat!" - or something. It's a great name; Bilgefish or otherwise could be good too!

Riot has confirmed the new creatures are called "Wharf Rats".

Also, the name of the new poro-like creates are Wharf Rats! -Riot Stephiroth

Not on Howling Abyss. The fish creatures takes on the Poros' job on the upcoming Butcher's Bridge-version of ARAM.
