Diana on her way to Ionia

At first I was completely lost. Why is she headed there? Is it just because it is close by? But scrolling through the champions of Ionia one particular banana throwing champ caught my eye . Soraka has been confirmed by 's quotes to be some sort of celestial being/or at least being of celestial creation. What role does the stars play with Moon aspect, could we see a Soraka lore update in a future Diana centered Ionian event? At first I speculated that Soraka may have been an ascended Vastayan of sorts. But it is possible that her lore will be shifted to a guardian role, maybe she never left the grove, is she protecting something dear to the Lunari? Maybe Soraka herself is a Targonian banished from Targon to live on runeterra for the misuse of her powers, using elements from her old lore.

Thoughts?

Edit: Since Sharjo confirmed that she is in fact not Vastayan, ignore the third option of the poll I guess.

Definitely not a Vastaya nor a Targonian. Most likely a celestial being.

I was waiting for this comment. Targon is a Cosmo spanning empire, they have aspects on worlds all over the cosmos, in Pantheon's case his host swaps his soul out for a portion of the essence of war to act as the aspect of war on Runeterra while Atreus resides in Targon. This could act as proof that celestials from other planets can ascend to Targon, effectively making her Targonian. Where she would later be banished (for whatever reason) to not her home world but a completely different planet, Runeterra.

Edit: who are we even to say that the Targonians still look like humans, this certainly was not the case with Taric and Leona's aspects. But I don't think she is an aspect because then Aurelion Sol would have showed a greater hate for her.

Whose to say that Targon is a s big as we think it is. It may just only control the visible aspect of the galaxy....but what of the rest of the universe...too early to say.

Aurelion Sol is to say, oh wait he created the visible galaxy... Likely they control everywhere there is a star assuming Aurelion is one of a kind. You are correct, but going from Mountain tribe to a cosmic empire of any size is still a big enough improvement, Noxus ain't got nothing on Targon.

We don't exactly know want zed is up to, with these 'spirit shrines' but do know it is draining the magic from the lands. And if Diana is looking for something in Ionia and not just hiding there, a Lunari temple or moon shrine is likely to be involved which apparently is something Zed is interested in now.

Tbh, I want his story play out so that he marries Riven and they both go to Shurima to help Taliyah fight Xerath.

Because when you think about it, even if he ties up Riven and carries her back to his village as proof that he is not the killer, if Riven even is the killer, he still killed everyone they sent after him and thus they still wouldn't accept him. I can see Riven telling him this and he follows her around while coming to terms with this fact, and after all the time they spend together they become friends... with benefits ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Edit: Or Yasuo realized this already and just wants to prove that he is not the killer. Once again, Yasuo things.

I would say that Syndra can easily defeat her... but i dont think that she has reasons to do so.

If we have Diana vs Syndra i'm sure the Lunari girl can win this battle, probabily easy if they fights overnight. Syndra is a human with a big power, Diana a human ascent in one of the most powerful role of Runeterra's universe.
