Diana on her way to Ionia

At first I was completely lost. Why is she headed there? Is it just because it is close by? But scrolling through the champions of Ionia one particular banana throwing champ caught my eye Soraka. Soraka has been confirmed by AurelionSol's quotes to be some sort of celestial being/or at least being of celestial creation. What role does the stars play with Moon aspect, could we see a Soraka lore update in a future Diana centered Ionian event? At first I speculated that Soraka may have been an ascended Vastayan of sorts. But it is possible that her lore will be shifted to a guardian role, maybe she never left the grove, is she protecting something dear to the Lunari? Maybe Soraka herself is a Targonian banished from Targon to live on runeterra for the misuse of her powers, using elements from her old lore.

Thoughts?

Edit: Since Sharjo confirmed that she is in fact not Vastayan, ignore the third option of the poll I guess.

Soraka's definetly not a vastayan. That woman's from another world!

AurelionSol comment to Soraka : "Twinkle, twinkle, little star, do you wonder what you are?"

Definitely not a Vastaya nor a Targonian. Most likely a celestial being.

I like this theory.

I guess that she is going to Ionia because no one wants to kill her there.

... I mean, that is what i would do if everyone in my homeland wanted to burn me alive.
