What's with the familiar names?

So I've notice that the familiars for New Horizon sound very Japanese. Except they don't have meaning, and if they do, are very arbitrary. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a Japanese native, just studying the language

Take Jinx. Her familiars are Shiro and Kuro, which in Japanese means White (白) and Black (黒)

Now for New Horizon (not including Syndra because her familiars are Multi):

Ahri's familiar is Kiko. Now in Japanese, the closest I got was "old and strange" (奇古), which to that I say is "wat ._."

Ezreal's familiar is Yuuto. In Japanese, the closest I got was "ambitious plan" (雄図) and "brave enterprise" (雄途). I don't know much about Ezreal, but it may fit his personality, I don't know.

Miss Fortune's familiars are Boki and Baki. In Japanese, the closest I got was bookkeeping for Boki (簿記) and actually found nothing for Baki. Odd

And Soraka's familiar is Shisa. I got 3 results, "suggestion, hint" (示唆), "parallax" (視差) and "differential" (示差), which doesn't fit Soraka at alll...? I also looked up Soraka, and found nothing :/

P.S. If anyone was interested in what website I used to look these words up, it's jisho.org. And never use Google Translate, my friend looked up "airplane took off the airport" and somehow Translate turned "took off [the airport]" into a term that meant "taking off [clothes]"
