How many times do you have to repeat this cycle, Riot?

You're repeating another past mistake with Aurelion Sol.

In what way? You keep trying to add things because you keep arbitrarily deciding a theme is boring, and it ends up not working or not being what the community wants at all.

Shyvana was released when we all asked for a dragon. "Riot, We wanted a real dragon. You know, one tha's a Dragon all the time. Breaths fire and stuff?"

So this is their answer? Oh okay we'll give them a dragon then! Wait, that's boring. A CHINESE dragon! No wait, a CHINESE SPACE DRAGON! Now we have something that plays more like a space version of Wisp from DoTA 2...

This isn't a dragon, Riot, this is a space mage that looks kind of like a Dragon.

Don't get me wrong, I think he looks pretty cool and interesting, but still totally not what we wanted in the first place.

The internet bred a new type of person who was emotionally needy, but wanted to appear intellectual, so they'd get all bent out of shape, citing examples and criticizing imperfection only to land on what was the equivalent of a design typo.

"I said a Red Rooster with a Blue Beak! Not a Red Rooster with a Cobalt Beak! This is ridiculous!"

It's a dragon.

I'm not sure why, but you seem to have a beef with the Chinese.

There are 3 main different types of dragons. Wyverns (like Shyvana) Western Dragons (like the rift dragon) And Oriental/Eastern Dragons (like Aurelion Sol)

Somehow dispite being told we were going to get an Eastern styled dragon, you got your head set on a western styled one? How? For three years Ao Shin was teased as a Eastern dragon and everyone (that I've seen) loved him. l think why they went for a Eastern style dragon was so that he would not overshadow Shyvana. Not to mention while western dragons tend to be depicted as big brutes who only sometimes breath fire, eastern dragons are depicted as being wise and magical, sometimes temperamental and wrathful, sometimes generous and benevolent.

As for this, "but still totally not what we wanted in the first place." Speak for your self.
