A little bit of love of us?

Now I know there's a post very similar to this elsewhere, but I wanted to avoid potential arguments. With such a booming LGBT+ community, it pains me to see that there's no confirmed LGBT+ champions. I know it's implied for some champions such as Taric , but its not actually confirmed; it really hurts especially being LGBT+ myself. I probably sound really whiny but it just pains me to play a game with such diverse champions, breaking boundaries with them, and there's not at least one champion. Maybe I should just wait, I guess the next champion might be the one I'm hoping for. summoner 3

Edit: I know it won't provide anything for gameplay, its just far more enjoyable to play a character in which you find relatable in some way (especially if its something that's really important)

There's hardly any confirmed straight champions my friend. Sexual orientation of champions is a topic that very, very rarely gets touched upon. We have Azir, Varus and Lucian who all had wives, Kassadin where that's implied but not explicitly stated, Rumble who has a crush on Tristana, Illaoi and Gangplank who had a legitimate relationship, and Ezreal/Lux dating. If memory serves that's it, beyond that there's only speculation. That's 9 champions out of 131. Not a very high number.

Your point of view is perfectly valid and it'd be nice to get that representation, but do keep in mind that Riot's thus far only done romance stories when those stories have directly impacted and are important too said characters. If we're going to get characters come out as having sexual orientations other than straight it's something Riot'll want to make important storywise, and not just be a stat that shows on a character sheet if that makes sense.

As far as I know, there's not even any confirmed STRAIGHT champions. The only two three that come to mind are Garen Katarina (Since it's hinted in their lore) and Rumble (As it is shows he loves Tristana). BESIDES those three, there's not any other champs I can personally think of that are CONFIRMED straight.

Also, as a side note, WHO THE HELL CARES whether a champion is straight, gay or bi? This is a game where the only thing that matters is how well the champion is in the game. I for one have friends that are Gay and Bi, and none of them give a shit that there is not Confirmed Gay or Bi champs, just like myself, they care how well the champ is.

Worry not, Vi is also looking a tad on the potentially-a-lesbian side, and Bard has no set gender. It's not much, but Vi-Cait interactions are pretty great and everything Bard touches becomes magical af.

I believe on Riot and I think they will confirm a lgbt champion in the future, even if they don't confirm, that's sure they will give huge hints that no one can deny.

But not now. We're far away from this statue. You can see that tomorrow, with huge downvotes on you. From a forum, that's generally people who are from first world countries, people who are generally open minded compare to russians, asians, and middle-easterns (no offensive). Sadly, you will even see disagree by them.

Riot has no chance now even if they're wanting, I can understand them and I'm totally okay with it. Better don't offend homophobics and make it seemed as gay propaganda by Riot. We're okay without a gay champion too anyway.

Honestly I don't really want Riot to confirm such a thing( not that they would consider asia). Personally I find adding gender or sexual politic into a story often just soil the story more than it enhance it. The fanatism of people about this issue has been puke inducing from both side the fence. Lately I've been finding that adding lgbt characters just plain bad or unintresting. I rarely finds good lgbt character in any genre than maybe romance and they usually involve school. Perhaps there is a good lgbt charactet somewhere but I think I have been just majorly turn off by the issue everytime I see it. People are sometimes too imature and forceful that I hardly find this topic ever having any proper discccussion.

it's pretty unfortunate there's no LGBT champions, but... there are some totally cool q*eer/nonbinary characters!

and hey, maybe it's a little weird to want to relate to the huge tentacle monster that only craves knowledge. Velkoz but yknow, he's pretty slick.
