Nami skins

Hey all!

I'm a huge Nami fan and I really enjoy playing with my favorite skins Deep Sea and River Spirit. If you take away Urf-Nami-tee and SKT T1 Nami, all her skins revolve around the same thing - the theme that is already her standard. I feel that comparing to other champions, her skins (despite being beautiful) lack thematical uniqueness and differentiation. Like they are all about her still being a fish.

After seeing some skins in witch it, I thought it'd be a unique approach to make her some sort of color witch, swinging a giant paint brush and throwing waves of dye on them.

I agree with what you're saying but I feel the problem is that Nami is just to unique. Her model is basically a mermaid, and once people see the tail, most everybody will automatically assosicate it with fish or water, making it difficult to break away from that vision. I have the same problem with my main Janna. Pretty much all of her skins just regurgitate the fact that she uses air as a weapon, with Sacred Sword being the closest she's gone to breaking the whole "wind aesthetic." I wish she would get like a fire skin or maybe a skin where it looks like she's using shadows, or something.
