The Crimson-coil dagger

#Crimson-coil dagger Someone was willing to pay a considerable sum for this unassuming blade from Gangplank’s treasure trove. Its origins are unknown, as is its use.

Is this hinting at another event, or a possible future champion? It's such a small detail, but conservation of detail says this ought to be important. It actually looks more like a cutlass than a dagger, but hey, it's Bilgewater (that ain't a noyf matey, disizza NOYF!).

What I'm wondering is if it has some innate magic, or else some religious significance.

Are we sure MissFortune didn't hire TwistedFate to go steal it so she could lure Gangplank out of his ship?

She was also behind the boy who told GP it was happening. Kind of seems like its all apart of her scheme.

Well Twisted fate was trying to steal that dagger,so I guess that we might find out about its importance in act 3 of the Bilgewater event.

However I remember someone saying that its going to get "worse for Bilgewater, but that maybe a hero will arrive" and the Dagger could be related to that statement(either making things worse or being connected to that "hero")

There are a million possibilities. Being crimson, it could be related to the Noxian Blood Cult that was mentioned briefly in GP's lore. Could be Darkin-related, if that Living Weapon theory is correct. Could be Shuriman, Icathian or Ionian if the vaguely oriental design is significant. Could be relevant to Bilgewater itself in some way. Could be not important at all if MF totally fabricated it's value, or maybe it's actually important to her.

Having grown rich preying upon the trade routes of the Twelve Seas, Gangplank has made himself many powerful enemies. In Ionia, he incurred the wrath of the deadly Order of Shadow after ransacking the Temple of the Jagged Knife

Taken from Gangplanks Lore page. Now, ionians had an entire TEMPLE for one knife/blade. So... it might be pretty valuable. Maybe even a magical artifact. I'd say it's powerlevel is at least 0,3 Bard. (1 Bard equals the egg Bard stole in his video. I think that's a good measurment unit ^^)
