The sudden release of the Universe page was a surprise to us all, and I was only more surprised to learn that Rito also snuck in a few new stories! So, naturally, I went through every. single. champion page, and made a list of all the new stories!

I think. It is definitely possible that I somehow missed some. And maybe some of them were around already, I don't know (lookin' at you, Rek'Sai).

Well. Here it is, then.

Ezreal's wasn't too exciting tbh

but it occurred to me they should set up some antagonism between him and ryze, with him wanting to find runes etc for the ultimate thrill of it

The Jax one was just cool with Fiora , shame we wont actually get the dual in story tho.

The Rek'Sai story threw me for a loop. Like, do we now know that Rek'Sai uses the corrupted souls or her prey as decoration!? I think that that story revealed more about the Void than we think.

Haha it's not decoration. What Rek'Sai does (I think) is take the souls of those she kills kind of like Thresh. However unlike Thresh, Rek'Sai isn't capturing the souls to torment or store them, she is using them to build a portal to the Void by combining the soul blobs with other soul blobs.

From Jax' story it sounds like he was from pre-fall Icathia.

Keep in mind they apparently summoned Void beasties in a last-ditch effort to fight off Azir's empire and the result was about as terrible as you might expect. Jax was probably mutated from Void exposure like Kassadin.

Glad there's finally some Jax lore, he has a lot of potential for it. Considering that Jax has 3 fingers on each hand and (by assumption) purple skin, we could say that he's been affected by the void. Hopefully, Riot can explore this idea when he gets a rework; let's be honest, Jax is fairly outdated by visuals and gameplay.

Bring on the Garen Introspective where he addresses his growing disquiet with the direction that the Demacian Nobility is taking the country.

Rugged/Vagabond Garen must be canon when he goes into exile.

... Bonus points if they get him and Katarina in contact with each other when she's forced into Exile when Darius purges the Nobility

Talon convinces Garen to help ambush the caravan taking Katarina to be executed. She goes back for him in a rage when Talon tries to leave him to die after Garen takes on a huge number singlehandedly.

I love the end of Jax's lore. I really hope we get to read the rest of what happens. (Also you shouldn't spoil its Fiora when you say it's Jax's story)

Tristana is adorable and I kind of want to play her now. I was also unaware yordles didn't need to eat while in Bandle City but had to once in the realm of humans.

Cassiopeia Was definitely not expecting Cass to be pulling some vigilante batman shit. Love it though, she's taking out scum bags.

Jax: I was especially interested in the fact that he is from Icathia. Now my imagination is running wild given his inhuman appearance (# of digits) and that places close ties to the void.

Tristana: I'm not sure it's because she doesn't need to eat back home. (How else would she now what tastes better) It could simply be an abundance of food that leads to never going hungry.

Cass: Honestly, I never would have pegged her that way. I mean, sure good for her, but I suspect other ulterior motives to her choice of prey.

Jax probably isn't from the void though. Don't think you were implying he was but it seems far more likely that his inhuman appearance is some sort of mutations related to the event that caused Icathia to fall.

Tristana's story made it seem as though the laws of nature are very different in Bandle City (fire lights differently?), but also pointed out that she did in fact eat while there. It's certainly possible that eating is for pleasure only while in Bandle City and the need for sustenance is foreign to her, but your interpretation of a surplus of food seems the simpler explanation.

I really think Cass is just starting out her blood lust with the scumbags doing her vigilante style murders. I think once she realizes how good she is she will move on to bigger, more politically juicy prey.

Appearantly it is able to hurt humans,but is actually unable to shoot through them. Though we don't know if she used special ammunition or something to not kill them.

I'm definitely curious on why the humans viewed Tristana as an old lady. Do yordles have some kind of natural illusion magic around them to protect them from the outside world?

Yordles are mysterious creatures. They're naturally magical entities that commonly will take the form of an ideal, like how Poppy is the ideal of Demacia and Kled is the ideal of Noxus. Yordles are also not exactly… always perceived by humans. It has been said that everyone sees Yordles differently, and they can go unseen if they want to. Even Lux and Garen would view Poppy differently, only because of Lux's relationship with magic. I've used the word "spirit" to describe Yordles, but they're a different kind of spirit. I guess they're almost like fairies? I don't know, I'm probably butchering this, but this is what I think the new lore is.
