(POLL) What region of Runeterra would you like to live in?

BronzeDriver·6/4/2018, 1:39:34 AM·4 votes·5,562 views

As it says in the title,

you would still be a standard person. [aka you can have magic but you won't be a Annie, Taliyah or Lux. you will need training to do anything impressive, it would be similar progression to other skills like blacksmith or pottery]

Champions would be seen as somewhere between local celebrities up to legends (heh) or myths, depending on which one.

Piltover is the most technologically advanced place there so it has good opportunities and more comfortable life

Question: if I'm a standard person, and I choose Bandle, does that make me a yordle?

I feel like Bandle or Ionia are probably the best choices. We don't know a lot about the current state of Bandle (rito.... blease....) but I'm guessing it's fairly peaceful? Plus yordles are great, and even if it's some weird faerie-time place I feel like that wouldn't be too bad. As long as it's not being invaded by Noxians, Ionia seems decently peaceful too.

Anyone that doesnt vote for demacia and ionia is absolutely insane they are by far the safest and best places to live in runterra. You see how I didnt put piltover on the list? NOT PILTOVER. Piltover is incredibly unsafe with jinx running around and the numerous amount of gang violence.

Piltover seems to respect individual rights the most. Although I'm confused now that Zaun is apparently part of it, how does that work government/citizen-wise? All the Zaun/Piltover connections still make it seem like they are pretty distinct places...

I'd pick Bandle City, but we have basically no information on how Bandle works in the newer lore, so I didn't pick it.

In general, I'd probably live either in Noxus or Piltover. Noxus would have the absolute highest chance of opportunity for me to get anywhere, since they value individual strength more than anything, plus they have some of the best opportunities for mages to flourish.

Piltover, to me, comes in at a close second, as, while it does have a lot of the opportunities Noxus has, it seems much more cutthroat, especially for people who have something to prove. Having to work hard only to be turned away by snooty Piltovan bluebloods doesn't exactly sound like my bang, but, at least there'd still be the opportunity to learn Techmaturgy and mess around with Hextech.

Two places that are "would if I could" status are the Freljord and Bilgewater. I could probably make a hell of a life for myself in Bilgewater, provided I live long enough to do so, and Freljord...I mean, if it were remotely hospitable, it'd be awesome to live there.

may ionia peace and prosper!

Ionia is a very beatiful peaceful and magical place and i'd love to live in peace and harmony there grant that there's probably no tech or video games rip...that.and they have animal human hybrids there and im a sucker for them

cough Ahri main cough

lol that and i main irelia and ahri, both from ionia

but if i got a second pick, i'd go piltover obviously cuz im a big tech person, but the peace and serenity with one with nature and magic is just simply too beautiful to ignore

iah i think this would honestly be a battle strictly between piltover and ionia or what's the most popular. Piltover for the technology, But risk it's extremly high crime rate or ionia for peace and prosperity, but lack in the technology advancement (but you get to learn magic and talk to anything even if its not human! that's pretty dope)

I don't think I could ever pass up the safety and security of Demacia. It may not be the most technologically-advanced place, nor is it particularly magic friendly, but at least it's a peaceful and well-protected land with an awesome visual aesthetic to boot.

Ionia, for sure. I'd trade the false, unnatural magics of the city for raw, untamed nature any day.

Bilgewater. It's a bit chaotic, which I normally don't like, but I love the atmosphere and even if it's lawless there are clearly still rules and bounty hunters to act as the (admittedly money focused) justice system. Plus, the high population of the city suggests that it isn't just murder and mayhem, even if people going missing isn't an uncommon event. Plus, I love the ocean, so I could probably find work on the slaughter docks or on a boat.

Though I'd have to watch out for Pyke.

The only thing that we know about Bandle is that is an utopia... and i want to live in an utopia, regardless if not-yordles cant leave.

Also, all the other factions have to deal with dangerous monsters and persons, the Black Mist can attack any place, not only Bilgewater... and Void creatures can spawn anywere, so, yeah, Piltover and Ionia are not trully safe... and they can be invaded by Noxus, or pirates, etc.

... in other hand the most dangerous thing that Bandle has to face is... Veigar... and i can live without balloons and horseshoes.

BANDLE CITY! Fuck literally everywhere else

Ifneth6/9/2018, 10:48:04 PM1 votes

Bandle City is the best answer. Going through the options...

Bilgewater - Dirty, dangerous, and poor Ionia - Clean, safe, but poor Noxus - Lawless tyranny Mount Targon - Dirty, dangerous, and poor Demacia - Oppressive tyranny Zaun - Dirty, dangerous, and poor Piltover - Clean, rich, but dangerous Shurima - Dirty, dangerous, and poor Freljord - Clean, safe but poor Bandle City - Clean, safe, rich, and well-governed

You live among chipper Yordles in a place no-one invades and see magical things every day. Your government is just, its agenda is laudable, and you and your children will have a good future. In a world of barely-governed or undeveloped expanses, warring empires, and a prosperous but vicious city-state and the nightmare below, where else could you want to live?

BenLegend4439/18/2018, 1:02:34 PM1 votes

住Piltover最爽.Although I'd have to try not to die from any Zaunites and avoid going down into Zaun. But I WOULD NOT like a run-in with Camille. Most of the other Piltovans seem pretty nice. But I'd get my throat slit with Camille so no.

I was doubting between Demacia and Piltover, but ended up choosing the second because of the technology and the higher level of life. And as long you don't go too deep into the city to the frontier with Zaun, you would be save.

SpellboundPh11/23/2019, 12:25:34 PM1 votes

Nobody wants to live in Shurima LOL

HonestJohnTheCon6/4/2018, 10:35:21 AM1 votes

As fun as Bilgewater sounds, I'm probably not cut out for it.

I'll stick to Piltover, where it's less about cutthroat blades and more about cutthroat politics.
