Is it just me or does it seem like Jarvan gets allies and friends with every step he takes

Swain may be a master tactician but Jarvan can be thrown down Targon and come back with atleast 1 legendary warrior swearing to join his and Demacias cause.
Makes you wonder why the first 3 Jarvans are painted as evil.
