So, I see riot wasn't paying attention to the recent problems Marvel was having.

Read the title. Realize how bad Marvel has been doing since they started their quota biased B.S. highlighted by writing at the level of a 12 year old B level student. (BUT 'MUH HARTLIGHT!')

Newsflash! Marvel has been hemorrhaging ~~MUH ~~ comic HARTLIGHT sales lately. Gutting old ~~HARTLIGHT ~~characters to give them ~~MUH ~~"Diversity" is a bad idea. Don't HART do LIGHT it. Make NEW characters with the traits you seek. Do Not re-write established characters. Especially not so poorly. (I am talking about the HARTLIGHT comic btw.)

The animation was well done. The Music was chill. The short story was decent. MUH HARTLIGHT!!!!..... was awfull.

You can show characters love each other without having them constantly scream it at the top of their lungs. Cripes.

i felt the romance was a bit hamfisted. i was okay having their relationship just hinted at with them touching hands and meeting his mother

in this case less would have been more. like yeah okay they're gay so what? it's no big deal. no one is making a big deal about it. it just IS.

but instead it got thrown in the reader's face a few more times like, "do you get it yet? they're gay. i'm telling you they're gay. see all this gayness?" <smooshes reader's face into the gayness>
