Pretty much as the title says. I know there a lot of factors involved, but I am curious as to what those factors are and how they have an effect on which of these powers would come out on top?

Powerful beings like Aspect, Ascended and Mordekaiser can overwhelm the Black Mist and be not affected by it but nothing stands against the Void. Its power consumes everything. Probably even Nagakabouros.

Mordekaiser can actually control the Black Mist (pls Riot when you rework him add this into his kit to match his lore)

As far as we know, the black mist is able to corrupt void creatures. So it seems that the void creatures would actually get consumed by the black mist, not vice versa.

Fasmodey1 votesVoid rifts can open anywhere. So It is not impossible to have a void rift in Shadow Isles. It would be interesting lol. But I think Shadow Isles would have no chance as even the Ascended had a hard time to close it. And they are cosmos-related.

Yeah, obviously even undead beings are existant beings that can be deleted by the Void, but what of the Voidborn themselves? How would the creatures of the Void fare against the denizens of the Shadow Isles?

Yeah, I am pretty much interested in how the interaction between a Voidborn and a Shadow Isles' Black Mist would play out. I am already convinced that the Void itself is this all-consuming thing that can barely be stopped, but the beings themselves don't have that same power, right?

But could a Voidborn itself possibly be affected by the Black Mist? We already know that Voidborns are existant, living beings. Could the Black Mist possibly affect them, even as far as to corrupt them and turn them to one of their own?

I don't think Voidborn are "Alive" in the same sense that something like humans are so I don't think they can be corrupted by the Black Mist.

In addition, you can't exactly eat a ghost, soooo...
It's possible the Void could eventually adapt to whatever the fuck is going on over there, but for the interim at least, I'm fairly certain the Shadow Isles would be on top.
Ebonmaw Dragon1 votesIn defense of the Shadow Isles, they are more organized than the Voidborns and their attacks towards the humans are more habitual than the attacks that the Voidborns do. And by that i mean invasions of a place, not a random creature biting a dude.
After all, the Harrowing occurs almost all the years, and it can happen anywere, anytime, not only in Bilgewater or October as some people think... In other hand, the Void "invaded" a place only once, and it was because they were "invited" by the Icathians... sure, they destroyed the place, but is not something that can happen in any moment.
